As you know that comment was immediately after the refferendum before we knew the date for article 50 and all the other stuff. It was an opinion at the time. We all state opinions that are just that, opinions. If that’s where you now are with the level of your political debate then I’m saddened

Both sides are now concentrating on how future trade effects the Irish border. Much better to have had this out first in Summer 17.

Seven posts above luv. Put the wine down
-
Im just trying to help you acquire some knowledge about how we got to this position. But fine, stick your head in the sand.
-
Surely you understand that discussing future trade in Summer 17 would have put much more focus on sorting the Irish issue then rather than kicking it down the road til now.

Should have been the case but the “losers” couldn’t accept the democratic decision and have fought this all the way giving the EU hope that we would change our minds. Also has to be said that the government have handled the negogiations very poorly, particularly by letting the EU set out the negotiating format. As Davis said at the time, the future relationship is the key to the Irish situation. There is no way no deal is happening.
-
Clear again that you spout without knowing your facts. I suggest you read up on how we got here, Blair’s promise to “settle the EU” situation once and for all”, in 2004 and how following a few countries rejecting the new treaty, it was fudged / amended and Blair weasled out on his promise. Im not doing all your research for you but here’s another article from the time explaining how all three parties wanted the refferendum. https://www.google.co.uk/amp/s/amp.theguardian.com/world/2004/apr/20/eu.politics6

Bit of history at where this process started, particularly the way the EU and Blair conspired to dodge a refferendum in the early 2000’s and how the Lib Dem’s called for an in out refferendum in 2008. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-15390884

We can each play with sentences. Can we just agree that the report recommends managed migration? (For clarity, the very position I have suggested and the majority on here have argued against).
-
Oh, and... “The share of new tenancies going to migrants is rising. Given there is little building of new social housing this is inevitably at the expense of other potential tenants”. In conclusion, the report is a resounding reccomendation for a U.K. managed migration system.
-
Depends whether you’re getting your news from Twitter or the actual report “Lower-skilled UK-born workers are more likely to lose out.” “There is evidence that lower-skilled workers face a negative impact”. “The earnings of the self-employed are lower and the gap is larger now than in the past”. The report also recommends and end to free movement “With free movement there can be no guarantee that migration is in the interests of UK residents”. And finally it suggests that there should be more restraints on lower skilled migration. Pah! Facts.

You’d struggle to make a good one out of both front benches. I think Ruth Davidson would have been canny in a few years but she’s ruled herself out.

Another 3lb off this week. Now 13-6 Toal loss in a fortnight 7lb Finding this calorie counting a piece of piss tbh with usually a lot spare every day. Non alcoholic beer has made a massive difference and feeling surprisingly healthy. -
A long way to fly and a lot of cash for that.

The Boundary Commission has released its final recommendations for cutting down the number of Parliamentary constituencies from 650 to 600 and it’s bad news for the Absolute Boy with his Islington North constituency getting the chop.

So far doing canny. 5 days into calorie counting and 4lbs off. Got some alcohol free beer which really helped get over that craving. Back at the gym last Saturday and a fairly decent workout. Also got a set of dumbbells for £3 at the car boot sale and have a YouTube workout video raring to go. And finally managed to get back into 34” trousers -

Must admit I haven’t felt starving the last few days. I’ll give it a couple of weeks and reassess the calorie intake depending on how it’s going. Ive also been watching Grant Hanson’s videos on Facebook and he’s just said exactly the same about over eating because you’ve had a good session / week in the gym. -
