  5. Really? https://order-order.com/2018/07/24/do-corbyns-core-voters-really-want-to-pay-more-tax/
  6. Do any of you ever stop and think there’s only so much money to go round? This week on radio 5 live there’s been various debates on more money for; Kids with asd in schools homeless people mental health in children Drugd that nice wont sanction etc etc Thats on top of the normal stuff like health, schools, welfare etc. Do you honestly think you should be bitching when we have care workers working for buttons and the majority of the private sector who get shit wages and shit, if any, pension.?
  7. As Alex says, not a chance in 4 days. Done most of that many a time in a camper van and you’ll either not do it or miss so much, such as stopping off at the monument on the road to Skye and watching the steam train climb the hills. Also, stop at Ullerpool, right on the beach, build a fire and watch the best sunset you’ll see in the UK.
  8. A reminder, Newcastle restaurant week next week. Just been to Paradiso for some Al Fresco dining tonight and must say it takes some beating for Al Fresco Mediterranean food. My personal recommendation: Starter: Anti Pasta Caldo Main: Mix Grill No pudding
  9. I liked them all. Without getting into the bits I agree / disagree with, the actual article was very impressive journalism that is rare to see these days in our own daily offerings. I loved the detail the writers gone into, the background, the timeline, the use of language. The world might be a tad better if the media was more like that than the sound bite, shock tactic, rubbish we are served daily.
  10. Corbyn couldn’t make the PLP discussionon anti semitism last night, too busy making garden furniture. What a man.
  11. No, the difference between you and I is class. You have none. Can I suggest you reach for the ignore feature.
  12. I’m simply saying they could have worked with the government to get Brexit legislation through, rather than opposing everything and making the government vulnerable to the wings.
  13. Yes, they could have voted in the commons as per their stated Brexit position and avoided a weak government having to give in to amendments from hard brexiteers or ultra remainers. Neither party wants to remain so a sensible path should have been followed by both leading to a better Brexit and a stronger hand in negotiations.
  14. Im referring to your little tirade at the end. Usually follows a bottle of red but surely not at this time of the day. Its one thing from the ever aggressive Alex whose life would be empty on here without someone to be sharpen his nails on, but I expect better from you, even given your Brexit sneering position of thickos and Gammons
  15. return of the screaming fanny. Go and have a lye down.
  16. Voted against every bit of Brexit legislation, come up with their own vague impossible shifting position and concentrated on trying to obstruct the whole process. This issue is is bigger than party politics, particularly given main votes and manifestos.
  17. Not at all Its very simple, if Labour had stood up to their voted position and worked with the government then we would be in a much stronger position both at Westminster and in Europe.
  18. Both parties voted for a refferendum . Both parties voted to trigger article 50 Both parties stood at the last election promising to leave the EU, the single market and the customs union.
