Immaterial really as none of them can compete with the money tree stuff.

I'd like Ruth Davidson but she would need a safe Tory seat first. If it's soon, then the shires will pick Boris. Apparently Angela Raynor is a she in to replace Corbyn.

Before we drift too far away from what I've said and you all go into straw man mode, how does being in the EU effect this Bombadier dispute between the USA and Canada?
-
I think you simply don't understand. This is a dispute between an American company and a Canadian company. Nothing EU related.
-
This is nothing to do with the EU. This is Boeing trying to block a rival based in Canada and NI. We do loads of trade around the world on WTO rules and the EU has zero influence.
-
WTO rules, nowt to do with EU (not that they'd get involved anyway). Much better to what we are doing today (as is Canada) and threatening to cancel Boeing defence orders.
-
Bombardier has nothing whatsoever to do with us being in or out of the single market.

I think most people feel like this at different times over different things. Upto you to say as much or as little about it to randoms on the net, but it would be interesting to know what you think this "cured" version of yourself would achieve and why that would make you happier. Would the grass be that greener? Would you want a better job, more money, better social skills etc? If you were diagnosed with cancer tomorrow would these things that you think would make your life so much happier seem as relevant or would it focus your mind on how much you have and how well your doing in a lot of areas already? Perspective imo is very underrated by a lot of people today, too busy chasing a lifestyle that really adds little to being happy. For example (and forgetting spiders), you have the overweight woman who is constantly dieting, imaging this better version of herself whilst being thoroughly miserable compared to another woman who has come to terms with her figure and lives life to the full and is the life and soul of the party. My standard advice is ditch the job and drive a taxi

But you have veered off twice now to make silly comments. I'm not going to derail it either, other than to say Meenzer has just mentioned Albert Ellis, another chap who praised Tony Robbins work.
-
Lets hope Rayvin has a good one then. Unfortunately there's a hell of a lot of shit Ines out there who have done a few distances courses and have little experience. As for knocking Tony Robbins, a guy who has decades of experience working with an unrivalled pool of experts in this and other fields, that's just silly.

Hey, what can I say. Life is about being content, happy and live and let live. Im pretty lucky. I'd reccomend self employment and taxi driving to anyone.

My two penneth is that practical results will come quicker from a coach, particularly if you already have a fair idea of the "traits" that are causing you issues. Whilst it's a big problem for you, it's one of life's common issues that coaches deal with day in, day out. A bit like having a fear of spiders, it's less important delving into how you got it but far more important someone tells you what you need to do to get rid of it. A local good coach would be ideal. Failing that you could start by getting a Tony Robbins book / audio. They'll laugh on here, but he's basically the one everyone else copies and his exercises are pretty straight forward and easy to put into practice immediately. ( It's NOT positive thinking btw) Good luck with it.
-
If you know what the emotional issues are already, maybe it's more of a "coach" you should be seeing. It would be interesting to know what you feel the issues you are and how you feel they are holding you back.

As if I'm going to have the answer to that. As Boris said however, it shouldn't be beyond the wit of man to overcome.

Not at all. Apparent again this week with all the middle class Londoners up in arms because their cheap taxis were in danger.

The sensible option is for the EU to respect a country's democratic decision and be a tad more positive in moving the negotiations along. If they don't hurry up, they are themselves increasing the likelihood of a hard Brexit which is a lose lose situation. I think May will be making Tusk all too aware of this today. My (slim) gut feeling is that the willy waving is about to stop.

The race to the bottom is already well under way and most people couldn't care less unless it effects their own job.
-
I can only see part of that as it looks like it's behind a pay wall. Is the thrust that EU needs to reform? If so it's what a lot of people have wanted for years but if anything the recent speech by the Juncker seems to be going the opposite way. More federalism, more Euro, more financial control from the centre. Merkel is going to be tied up in internal negotiations for months which I guess is why May is trying to get things moving quickly before Boris takes over and pulls us out with no deal.

Labour need a chance to gain power first and the conservatives will do anything to avoid a GE before 2022.
-
Labour are playing a blinder over Brexit, ruling nothing in or out. What's changed with Corbyn / Labour is that now there is a fairly solid "cabinet" behind him with a lot more intelligent / ambitious performers. They realise that his EU views are at odds with the Glastonbury crowds he appeals too. He is now the frontman but the "power" has shifted to the serious politicians behind him who understand government is within reach. The conservatives have ran out of talent however Labour have still to get over the spend spend spend credibility issues to get those extra 60 seats.

Zero people skills required. "aye, it's been busy" "I finish at ..... " "aye, nice / crap weather" Is about all you need. Radio at reasonable level for when inane conversation is over and passenger reaches for cell phone.

Drive a taxi, meet new people, work your own hours, be your own boss while you figure stuff out.
