Another game of strong possession but struggles in the final 3rd. Almiron seems off and Wilson seems off. Pre October form would have us 2 or 3 up by now. Its literally very good play until we are in the box. So far I have Almiron and Wilson as my first subs.

Re the meters, Gen 1 usually won’t work with another company and Gen 2 will. You can Google to see which one you want. Direct debit, just cancel and pay monthly till you are sorted.

Given his time out and lack of opportunity lately, I thought he did very well when he came on. Sent some lovely balls into the box and nearly scored the sort of goal no one else does in our team. I could understand both sides of the argument for and against his inclusion, but still it’s a bit of a shame if there is no room for a player of his style. Im also not sure there are many players around who combine his trickery, goal scoring ability and pace with a “Miggy” like ability to track back. I think more and more as the season goes on, we are going to need his skill set to break teams down.

Usually head straight home after the match however ended up in the Wonderbar for the first time. What a strange, wonderful, bizarre place Walked in to ABBA on the big screen (so instantly hooked), followed by video compilations of every chant under the sun. Cracking atmosphere mind.

Embarrassing day at the match today. Youngest daughter booked the tickets and had us seated in the middle of a row. Obvs had a little too much to drink and after 10 minutes had to excuse myself for a piss….. Then couldn’t find my seat so had to wait downstairs to be rescued at half time Mortified.
