spoken like a true prodigy. rpm spinning classes are also an efficient way of burning calories for the same reason. as is 5 a side football, squash...anything that uses squick bursts of 100% effort. steady state cario (long distance running for example or swimming endless laps of a pool) is a bit of a waste of time if you ask me. making it as expolsive as possible with quick breaks in between the work is a much more clever way of training. Depends what you're training for. HIIT 2 - 3 times a week with a couple of long distance runs thrown in-between is the ideal routine for fat loss and improved fitness imo.

Loving my new iPad but am a bit miffed that some apps have a separate iPad version. So if you want the app on your phone and iPad you're buying the same thing twice! Beejive IM is an expensive example - £5.99 for each version. Whereas Echofon Pro has both versions in the same app so you only buy it once.

It would be shit for Newcastle too (which is much nearer Scotland than London) so fuck you, how would you like it to be dark until 11 am? Anyway, it's been tried before and failed. Don't fix what isn't broken. Most people would be at work and wouldn't really notice though, except the weekends of course and I generally sleep until 12.00 so fuck all of you.

Damn eBay! Hopped on for a quick look and ended up winning a 32GB iPad (WiFi + 3G) with case, brand new, for £410 (well £417 if you include delivery).

Ipad 1 from £329 at the apple store. http://store.apple.com/uk/browse/home/shop...?mco=OTY2ODA0NQ £439 at Amazon. iPad 2 prices are supposed to be the same, so common sense says the iPad 1 prices will drop come March 25th.

Gym four times a week and run (8 mile plus) once a week.

In case anyone is interested (and even if you aren't), I completed the feat in 8 minutes 10 seconds.

What's the eccentric bit mean? I'm just doing 4 sets of naturally decreasing reps - I.e. as many as I can. When you say decrease the resistance, do you mean decrease the assistance (so make it heavier)? And try to do more each weak at a heavier weight? The negative phase, i.e. when you're lowering yourself.

It's a race up 42 flights of stairs - 920 steps in total. Clicky for more info.

Has anybody ever done it? Admittedly the location probably isn't the best for most of you. I've stupidly signed up for the 920 step climb in London's Tower 42 tomorrow at have a lovely 9am start time! Wish me luck! Oh and, if anybody wants to support the charity Shelter or has a bundled of excess cash they don't want, or simply wants to support a fellow mag then... Yep, next one is due out. I have the first one but doubt Id upgrade. Then again, might give mine to my wife and get a new one If you do want one, Id wait a bit as I reckon people will flog the 1st gen for a few hundred quid. Canny idea but I held off getting the 1st gen one because I thought they'd hold a lot of the features back for the next gen.

The quick reply with the persons picture on is canny. Also like the ability to set specific alerts for different people, schedule messages and the all important privacy feature! All things that Apple should have integrated from the beginning imo.

Did I read somewhere that the iPad 2 is due to be announced tomorrow along with the latest iOS or was it a bizarre dream?

Treadmills are for girls. Real men do their cardio on Stairmills... carrying a 25k plate in each hand.

Shut up man You could say the same about Maradona's goal against England I think Giggs is class but I agree with wyki about that goal. It was obviously a very good goal but not as good as it's made out. The defenders did just back off. He ran from his own half and he'd only beaten about one man (who made a half-hearted challenge) before he was in the box. Aye but the beauty of it was the pace at which he ran with the ball, not to mention (without sounding like Andy Gray) he had "no right at awww" to score from that angle past the England keeper, and I wouldn't even blame Seaman it was good a strike. Preferred Dyer's three touch lob goal tbh, can't recall who it was against mind Everton?

Fill in the blanks HF, if you will... Games played with Carroll = 19 Goals scored with Carroll = ?? Games played without Carroll = 8 Goals scored without Carroll = ??
