Anyone else heard of this so-called “anti-Newcastle” pact the “big” clubs supposedly have all silently agreed to? Man City being the only exception apparently. No other club wants Dele Alli and Spurs don’t want to deal with us because of this aforementioned pact.

I’d love it, fucking love it, if we picked him up for free in the summer. Can’t see it happening mind, but I’d love it all the same.

From what I've read, we'll only be going for Alli if the deal for Lingard falls through. Personally I'd love to have them both in the side but one is better than none I suppose, so long as Alli has the heart for a fight.

By the sounds of it, although the overall sum we’re offering for these players is decent (€35+), the lion’s share of it is tied to contingencies. So you can bet that there’s a big chunk of that tied to us staying up. Plus if there is a clause about us winning the Champions League, it’s no real surprise the selling club is telling us to get fucked.
