He' commission they take no part in deciding if a nation is accepted or not.

The UK has already stated it wouldn't block and Spain has already said it won't block if UK doesn't

The Governor of the Bank of England didn't say "no way" Barroso is covering his spanish tracks and pre empting Catalan and Basque seperatism. The UK has already said it won't block Scottish EU membership. Also as has already been pointed out self determination is protected by EU law. Other than that you're spot on cos never in the history of politics has a politician ever said "if this happens we will do this" and then changed their mind when it does.

Inagine a situation which is likely to happen or one where something close to this has happened.

If Scotland leaves the UK ceases to be. Uk = GB& NI GB = Scotland & England No Scotland = no GB No GB = No UK.
-
According to EU law all EU citizens have the right to self determination. According to that Barroso is wrong. Wouldn't be the first president of the commission to get it spectacularly wrong.

No. It was run up by london.

I agree I think the Euro will probably be the answer if it comes to it. The thing is all the pro union mob had to do to cut the legs from underneath the snp is offer a bit more devolution and go through with the recall policy they promised.

Well that's very grown up I didn 't realise the UK was the equivalent of a teenage boy being dumped. Well if the UK does not want Scotland to have anything to do with Sterling then they can't complain if Scotland also hasnothing to do with Sterlings debt. That is not petulance it's just sense. It will also have no bearing on lfutire loan terms. Unless of course youhave quotes from the IMF that says different.

Yes Scotland wants Democratic independence. What's wrong with that. The best money policy taking into consideration the fiscal dependency of Uk and Scotland would be a continued monetary union. This would stop the need for businesses to have to waste millions of pounds a year on currency deals. The unionist parties don't want the people of Scotland to have political independence because they are worried it will affect them personally. By that I mean it might lead to other regions wanting more political accountability and the last thing westminster wants is accountability. To try and stop this they are threatening to do their utmost to ruin Scotland financially from the beginning by refusing something which while not easy and would need CO OPERATION is definitely possible without to much hardship.

Like with too many things the SNP have not planned ahead for this. Instead of political posturing they should have been negotiating these things well ahead of time. It does however hand the scottish government to them on a plate for quite some time because all of the other parties are now the people who wanted to bankrupt the people of Scotland out of spite.

Alan Pardew - Poltroon sacked by a forrin team
Kevin Carr's Gloves replied to Kid Dynamite's topic in Newcastle Forum
This. Alan Pardew is the man who wouldn't pick Tevez cos he got in the way of hoofball. He has been mediocre to shit wherever he has been. Our 5th place season was a culmination of a lot of factors including Cisse bursting onto the scene. He will never get near that again.- 10610 replies

Cos it's in the best interests of the rest of the Uk too? The euro is back on the cards due to it recovering so that is a possibility. Also there are some who want Scotland to have their own currency.

Well no he is what he is that's no ones fault. Maybe Pardew could coach him better maybe he couldn't but if he just isn't any good that's not Santon's fault. it would be Pardew's fault if he picks him knowing there is someone better we have but if we don't then that's Ashley's fault.
-
No I agree with you. It is the affect on the team and the flirting with relegation which is the only thing that makes Ashley act.
-
The big affect would be on the team. Imagine seeing supporters desert you.

Wtf what kind of shit drainage do they have.
