Twenty things Times readers hate about modern football

What a doylum. Can you imagine how shit football would be without the offside rule? That's the list of stuff that never made the top 50 though. The top 50 list is alright imo: http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/sport/foo...icle5589815.ece Yeah, remember 40 a side, 3 pots in in the schoolyard? it would be like that but with Shola stood chatting to the keeper. Admittedly he'd still be beaten to the ball by a defender thats just ran the length of the pitch to get back. -
Nice one, see I knew you werent shirking The 8million that I originally quoted for Given was including 1million appearance fees which we agreed at the start was not to be included so its either 5.9 or 7. Meet in the middle and call it £65? Fine by me And yes, khay it is

All worthwhile charities but ideally I want something where its a one off, a ton will get lost in with the other donations on those.
-
Im putting this in here as well as the post I have in the man football forum as theres some on here that dont venture in there. Due to a bet laid on this site there is now somewhere in the region of £80-100 to be donated to charity. Im looking for a very small local (ideally) worthy cause to donate it to. I want it to be something where the money will be noticed, not a big charity such as the SBR appeal (fabulous as it is) something such as a sick child or underprivileged kids football team. If anyone has any in mind let me know.

Down to the serious stuff of the bet, Im now looking for a very small local good cause. Something where £80-100 will make a difference. If anyone can direct me towards something, be it a local family raising money for a sick child or a youth football club trying to raise funds for kit Id be grateful.

Good luck getting him to pay up Im sure hes good for his word.

A lot of the shite appears every time he opens his mouth tbf. In many ways he is the perfect manager for the current set-up. Exactly, so desperate for the job that he'll do and say whatever hes told to. To be fair part of you has to feel sorry for the bloke, hes been used at every opportunity and is being made to look a fool by someone (Wise) who he classed as a friend.

well I make it £10million profit but I think thats down to the independent adjudicator. Its definitely between 8 and 10 though. Over to you Mr Jimbo.
