Oh Ive got some great stories of Mr Sheard
-
Thats what happens when you turn up during the interval I was there (obviously), it was canny, there was no protest so not quite sure where Gejon was coming from. It was a call to action, not to storm the club or anything but for everyone to give their all in support of the lads on the pitch. It was also a call for people to question what is going on at the club and a chance to point out some of the things happening both within NUFC and the NUSC. All in all it was a good natured get together that saw a good couple of hundred people take in some music, discussion and a speaker who was vocal but passionate about this football club. Just what I read from someone who was there. well Ive got 140 photos that show its not. Ask them for pics of the banners.

And how many people do you normally see taking an interest in any kind of rally/protest at the Monument? A lot less than 100 thats for sure, over 400 people signed the petition, 15 people joined up as members and many many more took away the details to join later (I personally didnt expect anyone to hand over a tenner to some people stood with a table but 15 did).

Some would call that forgiveness. Something that is generally seen as a good trait in people. Being in the caring industry I figured you would have had that bit sussed like. Bollocks. Its so that they too can score media points. its all part of the circus. As for being in the caring profession you'd be amazed at the people who come out of the woodwork when someone is going to die! They use it as an opportunity to see what they can gain from the situation! Not always addmittedly, but it does happen and it happens very often. Didn't Shilpa and her bury the hatchet a long time ago? And she has hardly 'climbed over herself' to pretend that they're friends, she declined a wedding invitation. She went on TV yesterday to proclaim to the whole of india that she forgives jade and that all indian women should go for a check up. The bitch! hey some of these so called 'stars' man they've got nae shame.

as for the stadium tour, its a good couple of hours out. Not sure whether its now changed under Llambias like and probably has 1 and a half hours dedicated to the new look super balancing books with a quick 5 minutes showing you round the dressing rooms and ground.

Why can't they just create that kind of atmosphere inside SJP during the 90 mins? Why can't the whole crowd? Perhaps it's because the football is shit and the outlook is bleak. Maybe. So we'd (NUSC) choose to do it at Monument (outside where it matters) instead? .. Yet we have the "Cockney Mafia Out" Paraded 'round SJP during the match. And your point is?

It was something crazy like his phone had ran out of battery. Glad the days of "Deadly Doug" are over. The sheer concept makes the mind boggle!

Cheers I actually thought you had one in Allardyce, seems Ashley didn't agree... And as for Kinnear, he'll do enough to keep you in the premiership but that's not what you should be aiming for, you do have a good enough team though. Barton( not a bad player, despite being a twat), Nolan, Duff, Martins, Owen, need a few quality defenders though IMO. @Stevie: Haha, well it isn't a fantastic chant, but it's ours and I wouldn't change anything for it. I was wondering. Do you know how much debt Villa had when Lerner took over? Had 'Deadly Doug' kept a tight ship, in that regard? (don't know why I was typing that with a meedlunds accent, but I couldn't help it!!) Also, in respect of defenders, I expect O'Neil and other top managers to come with their bags of gold for Bassong in the summer. We were never in any debt at any one point under Doug's reign. Not because he was a financial genius, but because we spent fuck all. We paid cheap and for that, we got cheap quality players. There is some ridiculous reasons for us not signing players with Doug, something involving being unable to call somebody, so a player went elsewhere. Can't remember it exactly though. I'm half expecting us to come in for Owen this summer, unsure about him, we don't need him but he can still finish like one of the best. Beye always looks a quality player when i watch Newcastle, so does.. Jonas? ( Can't, and won't say his first name) Lerner came in and we were half expecting the same thing again as he didn't make any real signings until his second season. You didnt have a phone?

A netbook is obviously a better way to browse but its a lot less practical. Ive got an Acer netbook which I use when Im away from home and its a piece of piss to carry round and is canny enough quality with a 10" screen but you still wouldnt have it on you all day. Cant fault the iphone though, screen is obviously way smaller but the pinch and stretch facility makes it easily readable and Ive yet to find a site that doesnt render perfectly on the Safari browser it uses....tell a lie, there is one problem, sites that have scrollbars within them ie a main viewing area and part of the area contains a scrollbar, the iphone doesnt know how to handle those so you cant scroll them. Few and far between thought tbh.

You have to jailbreak your phone (sounds scarier than it is!) http://www.iphonehacks.com/jailbreak_iphone/

Out of interest how much does Ashley pay?

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/...p.html?ITO=1490 Yet we're not going to waste any more cash? How will giving an incentive bonus to Joe make things go any better? What are they saying? that he wasnt going to try otherwise?
