Looks like I was being over optimistic. It's going to boil down between us and Sunderland; who can play the worst.
-
Despite all the injuries not one player has made it through the ranks.
-
He was in the La Liga team of the season last year..........hard to believe I know.
-
Beye totally out played him today, trouble is we need him at RB as Ryan Taylor is an even bigger liability than Collo.

It is..... in parts we played quite well against Man U and Arsenal. I've a sneaky feeling we are going to win. -
Can you say quite honestly that if Joe Kinnear had made the same move you'd be gushing about it so much? ...in the context that Shearer has no coaching experience. Dowie will bring that.
-
I couldn't care how much money he's on. All I care about is we've a manager and one who not only knows the club but is a Geordie. Finally one of our own, someone to lead this club. I've a really good feeling about this, I think bringing Ian Dowie along is a master stroke. I cannot wait for Saturday !!

I'm sure he'll stay on...........I hope anyway. -
Well it's official....he's gone. http://www.nufc.premiumtv.co.uk/page/NewsD...1609507,00.html ...No plans for a replacement either.

What a tooll. Going on like we're safe and Ashley and Llambias are the ones to thank. What a lid! To be fair they'll deserve some credit if we do stay up. Aren't you forgetting they're the ones who got us into this mess? -

I bet he's relieved. I'm sure even he'd admit he was out of his depth. -

Me like Ian Dowie coming on board as a coach. -

GET IN !!!!!! Finally some hope.......... -
When fit he's the best player we've got.
-
Why is Ashley so blind to the fact that we're like a rudderless ship? I'm not a big fan of El Tel but I'd take him over what we've got. We desperately need someone to lead these players, and now would be the perfect time to get that someone in. It beggar's belief how badly this club is being run.
-
I agree......bar his debut he's been awful. Cannot jump, cannot head the ball, has no pace, positionally very poor, and seems to get pushed off the ball way too easily. I'm sure I've forgotten something.... Hull was a must win game. I think what hurt so much about the Arsenal game was how badly we feel apart. First half was full of promise. The last 20 mins was dire.

They rarely show us anyway.......it's always.......'and our final two games are Newcastle vs'.....

Nolan ‘100%’ confident of Newcastle United survival

He barely touched the ball yesterday. -
The last twenty mins of the second half made me finally realise I'm dreaming if I think we can avoid the drop. It was a total shambles.
-
...and the rest. I'd much rather Lua Lua be given a chance.
-
He's a committed player I'll give him that but he has no end product. Give me Solano any day of the week, now there's a player we could do with now, someone who can actually cross a ball and pick a pass. Saying that, compared to Butt, Duff, Geremi, and Smith, Jonas is world class. I don't think there is another team in the Premiership that has a worst midfield. The whole lot needs replacing nevermind one or two. Sadly even if we do stay up next season, I can't see anything changing. Our ONLY hope is if someone buys us out and injects some much-needed money into this club. Otherwise the future is very bleak. Against my better judgement I’m still going to the match, but if nothing changes in the Summer, I’m not giving that man a penny more of my money.
-
Lets face it no one is expecting us to get anything from this game. I just want us to have a go !!!
-
He worked well with Peter, the first 20 mins at Man U game was the best we'd played all season. I'd stick to that rather than change it now. Owen added nothing against Hull.
