Bollocks. Liverpool fans aren't dignified, stoic or likeable. They're jumped up divine righters who state there club is the best and without flaw, whine when they don't get there own way and complain everyone's out to get them, but then walk around shocked and appalled when people don't love them and their club. ....................and you in your wisdom think they are different from other fans yes. Liverpool fans are similar to fans of one other club and one other club alone. Everton. Basically it's the scouse mentality. I've mentioned before how they have this arrogance about their club, their fans, their city and everything Liverpool. While they whimper and whine that they're victims, the media hate them, the refs aren't fair to them, they're unlucky with injuries, etc. etc. etc. I've met plenty of fans from other clubs, real fans too, not plastic supporters who buy a shirt and declare themselves fans despite never having set foot in the ground, never being their for the hard times, having no ties to the club other than an affection for apparent success. Man U, Chelsea, Arsenal, they all come in for stick about glory supporters, but Liverpool fans take the biscuit in my eyes. If I chat with Villa fans they can be full throated in their support without acting like a delusional cock. They accept the flaws of their team and they are happy to engage in a real debate. Ditto for most real fans across the premiership, Chelsea, Man U and Arsenal included. But I've never met a Liverpool fan who wasn't so staggeringly blind to his clubs' flaws that every conversation reverts to "yeah but we've won it five times, what have you done." basically torres, you're a perfect example of a Liverpool fan. Not from Liverpool and (from what I've read on here) have no real ties tot he club. You expect people not to mind you sniping at our club and react with shock when sometimes draws attention to your clubs failings. They don't have the best music, they don't have the best banter, they don't have the best team and they don't have the love and respect of the country. Basically, scousers are so far up themselves that they speak and shit out the same hole. It`s true though, we have won it 5 times. Chatting to Villa fans lacks ambition You are a very bitter man. The jews are bitter you lot won't return their teeth. The US never stole teeth from the jews you fool. Besides, they have no use for them now anyway. You're an American living in Switzerland supporting Liverpool.....I don't need to add anything.

KK - I can spend £25 million on one player
Park Life replied to smoggeordie's topic in Newcastle Forum
He has probably too much nerve if anything, and frankly much like Robson, too much "honour" (if such a thing can be said to exist these days). "Poor tactical understanding" is the sign of a weak mind or poor journalism or both. It is portrayed like Keegan has absolutely no clue about anything and just jumps up and down and crosses his fingers. Funny that he's got "tactical mastermind" Allardyce's players actually playing now. As for winning, well stick Keegan at Chelsea or Man U (or indeed Liverpool) and I wouldn't bet against him. Conversely stick Fergy at Fulham or the old City setup (or even England) and would he win anything? Saved me a bit of typing there Fopper. -

He is really entertaining. I wish we could say the same about you but all you offer - similar to other Liverpool fans - is arrogance and tedium. You can tell your a plastic fool, Keegan should be one of your heroes for fucks sake. He was a hero of mine and I still wish him well as I do with Terry mac. That`s is why I came on here, because I had a soft spot for you lot. I do not think he`s a good manager though. Personal abuse doesn`t help your case. It doesn't help yours either. Apparently I am a racist, with poor geographical knowledge who never leaves the house. -

There needs to be other 'roles'. Fop would be mothers secret bit on the side or summat.

What role for Foppster?
-
Watched him quite closely in the Uefa game the other night looks good but didn't really wow me. Still he was up against a strong Bayern outfit. Good target but imo not quite in the Luka league.
-
Yeah it seems like either we were simply used to bump up the price or pressure Spurs in a deal that was actually effectively already done, or a stupid bidding war where quite quickly you'll end up paying exceptional prices for only pretty good players (and even if he IS very good, it doesn't mean he'll work in the Premiership - much bigger and genuinely better haven't). It'll be an interesting summer now, given that even O'neill at villa is talking about capturing Henry and challenging the top 4 now. All clubs have to pay over the odds now to get the very top players or the real prospects.
-
They can only look at it, not access it or store it though. I see your point however.
-
Good players are more expensive right now due to more clubs in the PL having more cash to spend. Looks like we've lost the deal and it perhaps was a strategic descision not to pay over a certain amount. We can't carry on like that however or we'll lose every player there is competition to sign.

Partly my fault for logging on to N.O. rather than here...Broke the winning habit.

No worries lads I'm here now.

You must have come to that conclusion after your champions league win! We'll see how the old debt restructuring goes.... Our owner you see is a Billionaire x2 and we currently carry zero debt, he didn't have to hock the club against assets to buy it. You follow? -

Benitez is far to conservative to win the PL. Too many away draws, too much safety first etc. Winning the PL is a far more tricky exercise than any other league in the world and it requires sides to show many facets and subtle changes in approach....It's beyond Benny imo. Although he is starting to show signs he is 'getting it'. -

A backtracking bottler it is then. You showed yourself for the weirdo that you are and now you are trying to make out it wasn't serious, it might wash with some of your mates on here but even they know deep down that you're a weirdo. The FA Cup is a glamour competition but I've never met anyone yet, other than Newcastle fans, who'd choose to win the FA Cup above a League tilte. Can you not read you tedious post office visitor??? What bit do you not understand here... "in an era when the FA Cup was held in a much higher regard", where does that make reference to the present, and what Newcastle fans priorities are in terms of what they would like to win. Go away you boring bastard, you defeat yourself and you know you do in your heart. I understood perfectly what you meant and still say I've never met a fan yet who'd choose to win the FA Cup above a League title and that includes old timers who've been going to the match for decades. My own Grandfathers biggest dream at the beginning of every season was to see Liverpool win another title and he's been dead for 20 years. When do you think you might win another title? Serious question btw? (No malice intended). In the next two years, we`re closer than most think imo.................when will you win "something"? Preferred Reshadow's ans tbh. -

Glorying?? Simply vilifying would be more appropriate. What's this about a Chelsea fan dying after a brick assault on Tuesday? You're right about the jealousy though, I wish I was scouse, such a lovely accent, lovely people, lovely city, good looking tall people too, it certainly does boil down to jealousy. Your answer says it all. I know I'm right in what I've said. You're a sad, lonely individual with a giant inferiority complex, who has the continual need for other people to agree with him. Bet you don't post on any Liverpool boards, How can you know you're right in what you've said? Surely the universe is reflexive? I like that word, very inventive. Cheers. -
