  4. Result today!! Bloody chuffed to bits, got tickets to see Jimmy Carr at Torquay's Princess Theatre in July. £19.50 each. (First I rang ticketmaster's number to book, 3 tickets would have cost £75 with their cut So I walked down to the theatre, paid cash and got them for £58.50. Quite a difference. Plus ticketmaster had offered me seats for the Saturday night which I found out has been booked for weeks!!! So not only do they rip you off they can't even do the booking correctly
  5. Then dont! Thankfully, we all like different things!
  6. Anyone like Ross Noble?
  7. Must admit, I used to dislike Lee Evans (partly because of the sweating but mainly because he resembles Phil Cool and Norman Wisdom, both of whom i disliked) some parts of his act/character still annoy me, but he's very clever......his work rate his amazing and I like his expressions. I still think he's better as an actor though. Cannot stand Gervais, he's such a twat that i want to punch him.
  8. I'd go for Jonny as my son, as he's about the same age as mine. Plus I rekon he's a good lad
  9. Anyone going to see him on his forthcoming tour then? Can't believe I didnt realise he was touring and he's actually performing in EXETER (very close to Torquay) and its sold out So I tried Taunton but sold out there too Not making the same mistake with Dylan Moran, who I've wanted to see for ages. Booking tickets today for November in Plymouth Seen any good stand ups ? I'd like to see Billy, not sure if he tours much now though.
  10. Chelsea by a mile. Can't help it, I just hate to see Man U win anything.
  11. Season ticket all the way. If I lived up there it would be top of my necessitie's list.
  12. I'm very patriotic, even to the point when I hate that in some sports an English person has to be GB with the Union Jack by the name I hate it when you have to choose your country for anything and you have to choose UK or GB because England isnt an option! I'm English ffs!! I want my flag and my nationality as a choice. No different from the next person.
  13. Just get an accountant it's a lot cheaper than you think and saves you a lot of hassle. They are good at warping reality as well. Yeah, first of all we were going to do it ourselves, but our friend is an accountant so she will do it. I will try and keep things in order etc etc though, so her work is less......but she said basically even if we just dump all paperwork and receipts in a carrier bag at the end of the year, she will still be able to sort it, though it would cost more. Come to think of it, I liike that plan
  14. You need a website n all Like this? (luckily we have our son who designs and runs our racing sites and now a site for the business. We have leaflets and business cards to match
  15. WOW cute hehe (just in case it's a trap)
  16. Very rare, especially in Chinese girls apparently. Really? didnt realise that! Witches eyes
  17. True, but if you're good and something and think you could do it better yourself, then fuck it, you may as well go for it. You'll be laughing about this when he's selling the company for millions.. Yeh I know he has to do it. He was taking enough money where he was to earn the wages for the other 4 people who worked there! It had to end! Last week he cleared £900 in his first week, so hopefully things will be ok, but obviously there will be quiet times, so I will have to be the mean one and take some money off him each week and put it away for a rainy day......cos I'm good like that
  18. Who are they? (sorry if I'm missing something obvious here, I've just woke up)
  19. Dreading all the VAT business, we're not VAT registered yet. Luckily we have an accountant friend who has given us advice and will do our books once a year. I will try and keep the accounts in monthly order. The last couple weeks have been extremely stressful rushing about. Sometimes I think its just easier to go to a place of work and do your shift, end of!!!
  20. Tbh, things have happened quickly, from 'oneday I will do this' to 'arrghh its actually happening!! I think we've sorted alot in a short space of time though. Last thing we need to do is set up a card facility for customers to pay...not sure how to do that, I presume I go to Abbey about it once the account is opened?
  21. Great, I have heard good things about them. Was told to avoid Lloyds.
  22. If you have or have had one, who did you go for? I am waiting to hear back from Abbey anytime, having sent all the forms/info off last week. Hubby has left his job of 29 years and set up his own business. Luckily its started well as he has a good loyal customer base already. (Still shitting it though, this is scarey, we're creatures of habit) Anyone on here have an Abbey business account? If so, what do you think of them? the deals they offer seem quite good.
