Can you imagine toonraider trapesing round that? She wouldnt have a fucking clue what was going on. They're taken from the air man woman man! High up in the air! She doesnt travel by 'iron bird' either iirc. Probably thinks its witchcraft.

My friend and i just had a good weekend in the Cotswolds visiting the usual picturesque places such as Broadway, stow on the wold and the slaughters. Anyway a small group of us are going back to Stratford again in Dec for 2 nights, just for some christmas shopping not to mention the Stratford town ghost walk Anyhow, whilst looking for a cheap B&B or hotel we found this....have to say i have never stayed in a youth hostel and didnt even think i could now (I thought i was way too old) But this place looks something else! and its so cheap! Think we might go for it. Any of you lot stayed in a youth hostel? I didnt know there were any quite like this one! http://www.yha.org.uk/hostel/hostelpages/197.html

The following is a picture taken directly above these camels in the desert at sunset. It is considered one of the best pictures of the year. Look closely, the camels are the little white lines in the picture. The black you see are just the shadows!! I just cant see it

im glad you dont like Turkish D....it pisses me off when someone chooses that one from the box, why cant they just go for the flake cake one? ( im very protective over chocolate) I'll pretty much eat anything chocolatey, as long as its not white or cooking chocolate. My friend and i went away the weekend just gone to the Cotswolds, we were nearly an hour in ONE fudge shop in Stratford, just too much to sample and choose from!!

Agreed. Sorry to hear your bad news Gina Why not buy a few boxes of Marks and Spencers 'nice' biscuits, ( on offer at present) split the boxes up, wrap the biccies into individual parcels and tie up with ribbon for small gifts. Its the thought that counts after all. It is the thought that counts, but if anyone gives me a biscuit for Christmas, there'll be trouble. not even a ginger one? I dont mind receiving a box of those really moreish M&S luxury biccies though. No, not even a ginger one. I'll go through three tins of the cadburys biscuit selections over the festive period though. I watched more about this whole thing on the news this morning and it's awful. Old grannies losing £6k and stuff. Pretty shocking. mmmm yes, those cadburys chocolate cakes are gorgeous too...especially the turkish delight one! (mouth watering here)

Individually wrapped biscuits? Sorry I thought she had a bit of misfortune, I missed the bit where she said she'd been trapped in a Dickens novel. i didnt mean one biscuit per present!! they are large boxes and you could half them to make them go around further and creatively wrap them prettily!!!

I have a Rover 600 that cost me £600. It's an 11 year old 'N' plate and when people laugh at my 'banger' i laugh right back at them. It was owned by an octogenarian, garaged since new and when i got it had 28k on the clock. I've had it for 2 years, haven't spent a penny in repairs on it and don't have a couple of hundred quid a month going out on a car loan. New cars are a way to part stupid people from their money tbh. Or people who are just richer than you. You might have difficulty getting parts for that Rover if anything does fo wrong mind, and it almost certainly will, being a British car. Monster our Laguna is 10 years old, low mileage, great condition and reliable....all for £280! Its a quality car too, not one of these new noisy, uncomfotable shoe boxes that people buy! We got our son a peugeot (sp) 106 when he passed his test, think we got it for £300, its still going strong now! We look at it, if you only pay a few 100's for a car that lasts a year ot two then you cant go wrong, just chuck it away if it needs money spending on it.

Nope never would, waste of money as you lose so much so quickly. Hubby is in the garage trade anyway and gets us incredibly cheap run arounds that he literally throws away the minute they need anything major doing on them! We actually have a Laguna at present, yes its a few years old, but very good condition and cost us £280....bargain!!!

Since i started this thread i have really got into Sigir ros, i mean i adore them, so thank you all for that, to think i was missing out on them all that time

I love Metallica saw them on the snake pit tour. I prefer their earlier stuff, master of puppets and ride the lightening being my favourite albums. So what metal did you have in mind then? Im patial to it but dislike the thrash stuff.

The band with the large girl singer? I thought they were pretty good, i liked her voice.

this is better..... Two women in heaven 1st woman: Hi! My name is Wanda. 2nd woman: Hi! I'm Sylvia. How'd you die? 1st woman: I froze to death. 2nd woman: How horrible! 1st woman: It wasn't so bad. After I quit shaking from the cold, I began to get warm & sleepy, and finally died a peaceful death. What about you? 2nd woman: I died of a massive heart attack. I suspected that my husband was cheating, so I came home early to catch him in the act. But instead, I found him all by himself in the den watching TV. 1st woman: So, what happened? 2nd woman: I was so sure there was another woman there somewhere that I started running all over the house looking. I ran up into the attic and searched, and down into the basement. Then I went through every closet and checked under all the beds. I kept this up until I had looked everywhere, and finally I became so exhausted that I just kneeled over with a heart attack and died. 1st woman: Too bad you didn't look in the freezer........ We'd both still be alive.
