Again you are speculating ridiculously talking about Berbatov, Ashton etc... It's not as if Shola has no precendants, the reason people are annoyed is because it's always the same shit from him regardless.
-
Still can't understand how anyone can defend him... I'm just glad people defending him are in no way connected to the club, or we'd see Shola get a new and improved ten year deal no doubt... "He'll come good... he's bound to, I tell you!"
-
Leave it out already another moronic thing to say... it's about repetition and the amount of times you've seen players do that. For Shola scuffing shots and hitting them wide is the norm. Not so much for players like Owen, Shearer, Ronaldo etc... Doesnt mean they never do it. Can you comprehend that?
-
What a supid thing to say... You must mean if Kanu had been at the club for over 6 years and never shown any type of consistent form or inteligence on the pitch and, as a 25 year old premierleague footballer, still continues to regularly be offside from set pieces, then you are right he would get the same treatment as Shola. Highly speculative though I think. You're looking at it from the wrong angle. The hatred towards him is a consequence of what he does not the cause.
-
Shouldnt have had it fixed. Clearly was in his prime then I guess. He's always been poor in overall play even when he's managed to grab his goals here and there. Again, the overall balance of risk vs profit makes it not worth playing Shola.

fucking hell man... type properly please.

I've seen all our games this season... and that is simply not true. Viduka was poor against Boro, but good against Wigan. As for being offside and giving away free kicks, you're simply talking crap. Ameobi played better against Wigan than Viduka did tbh. Not too sure about that... Viduka was good in the first half, but that last ditch tackle by Shola on Zog who was about to smash it with his left foot was world class I'll give you that.
-
Maybe because neither got to play that regularly, and eventually burnt their bridges. Bramble did get the stick he deserved. What prejudice though? I get wound up and annoyed when because a Newcastle player is repeatedly crap and makes the same mistakes over and over? As I said, there will always be people who will be ready to defend him no matter what. It sickens me. The fact even Gemmill isn't playing devil's advocate here says a lot to me.

It's simple really... For example: Smith and Geremi were bad, they have been at the club for two months. Shola has been the same player up to the same tricks for 6 years. Why should I explain why I'm not giving other players abuse in a topic about Shola? It's incremental. I think Allardyce should take a big share of the blame for the defeat last night... However I am also very much inclined to believe he can learn from his mistakes.
-
... are you sure you are still talking about Viduka? That is the very basis of Shola's game
-
Here we go again... He's not being used as a scapegoat, he's being criticised for being a brainless idiot. Up to his usual tricks yesterday. I've seen all our games this season... and that is simply not true. Viduka was poor against Boro, but good against Wigan. As for being offside and giving away free kicks, you're simply talking crap.

Good point, hadn't thought of that... my renewed faith would take a dent if that happened.
-
One of our only players to have a creative spark is playing in defense ffs! Get Zoggy higher up there!
-
Love to see our players get stuck in... but that tackle by Smith was simply retarded!
-
Why is there always one who has to stand up and defend to brainless piece of shit?
-
wow... the last 5 or so posts are like music to my ears! He started okay actually winning his first 3 headers... after that though it was trademark Shola. Giving up the ball and breaking up our plays. Hopefully Martins will provide the shock factor.
-
Glad someone else mentioned that... pathetic. What a goal by Miller.
-
... and we are in the away kit (all light blue)
-
I'd prefer Owen and Martins to start up top.

Had forgotten about that pic what a win! My only concern about the England team at the moment is how much McClaren's decisions were forced by injury rather than tactical awareness... a bit like under Roeder last season. -
Don't act like you know me. okay... Quick look at your posting history tells its own story.

Overdoing it a bit though... still a long way from mastering it I guess.
