1. I'm sure Robben will be back to his old antics now he's on the international scene, dirty bugger.
2. This is as far as the ball went make of it what you want, it's close that's for sure.
3. Game 6, Group C SERBIA & MONTENEGRO v HOLLAND Leipzig, 14.00 Looking forward to this match up. Holland being one of the teams I wouldnt mind see winning the competition. I think they'll slip up though in this match, I'm going for a 1-1 draw with VanNiss scoring first.
4. I don't think it crossed the line either, but would have liked to have been given the absolute proof. I had the same reasoning as you at first Toonpack but after seeing a few replays, I'm pretty sure it didn't completely cross. Maybe FIFA just didn't want to give us the opportunity to see that one of their beloved refs could be wrong
5. For those of you who saw the game last night (Argies vs Ivory Coast), there was an incident from a corner where Ayala headed the ball, and the keeper just about fumbled it out, before it crossed the line. Anyway, since this kind of incident has arised in the Premierleague, SKY managed to implement cameras right along the goal line for all the games they cover. Now I was waiting for the replays last night, thinking ah hopefully the World Cup people will have followed suit... but no. More proof that english coverage rules all.
6. we'll need at least a draw against Sweden (if they beat Parag.) to win the group.
7. agreed, regrettably. But England usually get off their arses when their backs are against the wall against the big guns. erm. they're not aal pooftas man. 147449 Yes I wanted to mention this, it's weird how ENgland do have a tendency to be dragged to the level of their opponents. Upwards or Downwards. example the game v the Argies in Geneva.
8. Can't decide who I disklike the most here Drogba or Argentina ... so let's hope for a draw, lots of goals, lots of sendings off
9. indeed they were Crap, was hoping we could get back to goal scoring ways against them...
10. had the feeling we would get an early goal ... but alsio thought we'd get another shocking in the last third we were.
11. Funny isn't it how us mere mortals can understand the problems with taking off your main striker (who needs time on the pitch) and leaving Crouch totally isolated with no use for his flick ons and can see the midfield struggling as they have no outlet and the whole team gets put under pressure, but what do we know. 147373 coudlnt agree more. We were begging for some pace in the last third, and he puts Hargreaves on. Oh well at least it hasn't cost us, but I hope Lennon or Walcott get a run out in the next game.
12. Well if one of two sides finished first of their group and the other second, then we could very well see an England v Germany as soon as the second round. Otherwise we won't meet until the final. anyway judging by their performance yesterday it could a good game.
13. finally got to listen to it all this morning... all the WW2 stuff is quite hilarious
14. he's not even in the 23 man squad.
15. There we go, all nice and clean now, I've merged yours with this one Boyo so anyway yeah, I hope Germany lose and all.
16. damn, i've got my england top on today what bout those nazi world cup helmets that were on eBay?
17. here it is from that opposite view by the way, very cool. one of those goals you never get tired of watching. Love the bit where the number 5 goes past 4 italian players, that dummy/stepover is brilliant! 146817 Gerson you mean 146926 I knew what his name was, but there was no way I was venturing into trying to spell it (pretty simple really)
18. they did say at first that it was the same leg... which I thought was strange because you get all sorts of metal plates put it, for it to snap again like it did would have been odd. He'll have two nice bionic legs after all this.
19. SUrprised his family didn't tell him to get his foot in the door, get a two year deal, then try and get sacked with a massive payoff!
20. If we win our first two games without him, can't seeing him being risked in the last one. In any other circumstances, it looks like he'll definitely take part.
21. here it is from that opposite view by the way, very cool. one of those goals you never get tired of watching. Love the bit where the number 5 goes past 4 italian players, that dummy/stepover is brilliant!
22. ah, indeed, weird, I managed to remember Saha though. fixed now.
23. for chuckle's sake. Definitly will also be keeping a close eye on Kuijt! hope he does well (but not TOO well).
24. Nah they should have dropped buckets of KFC and bottles of Pepsi from the planes, and wait for him to give himself up.
