He does his interviews in the accent of his character in the film he's promoting. He feels that it helps viewers drawn to the film by an interview to not dwell on the accent. Consummate. It does lead to your misconception though. What's going on here then: Weird mix of American accent with very noticeable English popping in. His natural tone? .... but wait:
