Source? 157171 A reliable one.

Apparently he's out for the whole of next season. A 'significant setback', apparently Gutting.
-
He scored from a penalty when the keeper had already dived. Who needs Owen with this world beater at NUFC?
-
Discuss 135210 Belladinho? Never should have sold him to Brazil. Plus having two Welsh dwarves up front next season would be a wondrous thing, boyo.
-
Definitely Fifty Pence After all, you can find him in the club, bottle full of bub, apparently...

Stephane Guivarc'h FWD Auxerre £3,500,000 Surely the very worst striker we had in that period. Did he score a goal for us? I think I remember him failing to score in the WC 98 - quite some acivement given that he was the sole striker in the French squad.
-
might well prove enough to guarantee Rovers that UEFA spot ahead of us. It's simple - if Souness hadn't fallen out with Bellamy, he wouldn't be playing for Blackburn now and we'd be looking at European football next season. Ok maybe a bit of an over simplification but it still really fucks me right off knowing that Souness' childishness and petulance may have contributed to this state of affairs. As for the 'we got Owen though' argument - i'd happlily habe both of them, they're really not that similar players...

Enough for him never to reveal the identity of the one-armed man. 127521 Quality!

Hadn't seen it before . Scared the shit out of me for about a minute till I paused for rational thought. Phew.

After having pretty high hopes for Emre this season , he's rather failed to deliver I think. Whoever described him as the Turkish Maradona was a bit wide of the mark. A bit like Emre's shooting - 2 league goals all season hardly anything to get excited about. OK he's neat and tidy, looks quite a godd passer of the ball, but I honestly thought he'd be a much pacier , tricky customer that had defences shitting themselves a bit. Would be good to know how many assists he's made - can he deliver that killer through ball or whip in a brilliant cross? The jury's still out, but he looks a bit one-dimensional imo...
-
Benfica would probably be where they are regardless or Robert. Has he scored or assisted in the Champs league? I can't remember much contribution except for a good run in the first leg against Liverpool before being fouled. He probably shoots into the strtosphere from the halfway line whenever he gets the chance, then looks a bit miffed when he doen't score . So, no.
-
At least he bought us some 'proper' players like Faye and Moore. The sorry twat.

Alright then; Bowyer out, Butt out, Milner definitely back in and jury's still out on Luque. I thought keep Bowyer originally because he's sort of versatile in terms of his position. He could play central, at Leeds(I know it seems ages ago now) he played right midfield and couldn't bloody stop scoring, but you're right he doesn't seem to give much of a toss so we're probably better of without. Butt seems absolutely pointless imo, can't believe he used to generate more enquiries from admiring managers when he was at ManU than any other player. Pele thought he was the best player at the World Cup in 02. Now he's so shite, it makes me cringe to think of him passing the ball straight to his former temates in the FA cup knock out last year. Then chumming up with Fergie at the end - yuck... Milner looks good this season, even if Villa are struggling now. Could be the successor to Nobby after all. Maybe Luque would improve if given a decent injury free run up front with Owen - I've not seen much to suggest he'll justify his price tag though

Post Shearer we need to rebuild. Basically we have about half a decent team. Who do you reckon should stay/go? I think: Given (& Harper) Taylor Baba Ramage Dyer Parker Emre Zog Bowyer Solano Owen are the basis of a top 4 team with some decent additions, obviously defence and attack need beefing up. Someone like Woodgate except not permanently injured, plus a reliable striker for starters. However Boum Bramble Elliott Carr Moore Clark Faye Luque Ameobi are average at best and don't really look like cutting it. Shame about Luque - he could be class but seems to be a bit shot mentally. Whoever comes in must try and keep the basis of the team and build it rather than scrapping the whole thing like Dalglish.

No team has done anything in the EPL utilising 3 at the back. It's total shite and doesn't work. 51651 But Im managed to win the masters league in Pro Evo Soccer with that formation! Ho hum. Point taken.
-
What about (tin hat on ) 3-5-2 -----------------GIVEN --------TAYLOR---BOUM-----BRAMBLE DYER------------PARKER--------------BABA ---------SOLANO-----------EMRE ---------OWEN----------SHEARER with Dyer and Babyaro as wing backs. Solano can still go wide to put the crosses in or he and Emre can play through the middle. Emre is left footed i think so he could cross first time from the left too. Or is it all a bit Glen Hoddle? Just a thought. Boro did well aginst Manu with a 3-5-2 at the weekend.
-
Emre - free kick - awesome 3-2
-
I'm afraid i think he'll keep his job even if we lose against the Mackems.
-
I know he's a midfielder - but what's his style? All I've heard is that he's a playmaker. Is he an attacking midfielder or more of a holding player who pulls the strings from deep? Is he fast, does he take defenders on, or is he more of a long ball player? Sorry I've seen nothing of him in the past and just wondered who he compares to...
-
Harmison for NUFC manager. For life. Maybe he could play on the wing as well.
-
Becuase they're a bunch of money motivated slackers who are more interested in gertting a new Beemer than doing really well for NUFC? Or maybe we've got crap management and coaching staff? Perhaps both.
-
Why was Faye signed again? I've forgotten. Apparently he is supposed to be a holding midfielder. So why is he played as an attacking midfielder, ahead of Bowyer? Seriously I could pick a better team than Scottish twat. Souness isn't really fit to manage any football club anywhere. God this club is doomed with him in charge, relegation very much on the cards.
-
The things is, you know for a fact that if Souness is sacked, SSN will be up at SJP interviewing all the Charvers who'll be saying they want Shearer as manager, and that will make it seem like most NUFC fans want Shearer as manager. 18043 Aye. That's what annoys me the most 18054 Who then? Rather Shearer than Roeder/ Venebles, surely?
