I know we need numbers for the squad but when you consider at present we have Charlie, Jonas and Duff do we really need to sign another left winger even though he is on a free?

Unhappy Spurs star Bent targets Newcastle or Everton move

Tell them they can have Given for Bent and Bale -
I would be quite happy with a deal like this, I Just would not sign him at the end of the season. Clubs do these kinds of deals all the time and then pull out them when the option comes round much like Viana at Lison, D'Allesandro at Pompey etc. It would give us extra cover down the left and give us the extra time to find someone who we can sign at the end of the season meaning we won't be ripped off for silly money like City have been with Wayne Bridge.

From the Journal Looks like Charlie must be away then. Another few million in the bank and a shite replacement to compete with Duff for nowt......whoopee

Lovenkrands is another like nzog who has pace to burn but really is a headless chicken with no real attributes other than being fast. Much like your Rommedahls and others who made a name for themselves purely on their ability to run fast. Again like our Le Sulk he used to chip in with the odd goal, quite often against Celtic, and this for many hid the fact that he was very average.

Seemingly it has been reported on the radio according to Skunkers..
-
As well as Enrique, the way things are, I'd agree. As a means to get rid of Enrique though? No thanks. Is the correct answer... Riise always had his fair share of injuries did he not and if our very own Le Sulk got his move it could see us struggle down the left...
-
Obviously the big problem if he want would be much like the Milner deal, would the money be spent on a replacement. If we knew it would get reinvested I wouldn't think twice about punting him for 8 million.

Riise, Ferguson, Mido...wooooooooooooooo

I notice that there was no mention of what cash would be taken out though. He never once says "and I wont withdraw any dividends for myself". Dont get me wrong, he would be more than entitled to if he wished, its his club but saying he'll put 20mill in and at the same time taking 30mill out would put us 10mill down. Watch out Carol Vorderman we have a maths genius on the forum...

35 appearances and 7 goals in the last 2 and a half years. Fook me we would be better off with that lazy bastard Kris Boyd...

FFS! Unless I want to get a train that will get me in to Newcastle 1 minute before kick off I am going to have to pay over £60 for another fucking train ticket....

A bit like "world class" Owen then? Do you still rate Taylor btw? Still young. He'd probably further his career a lot better away from this circus though. 100 games for the first team man. Adams was labeled a donkey for years. Then he came on as a player. Players mature at different ages. I guess time will tell who is correct. But for my arguments sake i reckon he needs to leave the toon. You're comparing him to Adams? Adams was only labelled that after Euro '88 and there was certainly no shame in getting made a mug of by MVB (Ask J69 ). At what age was he captain of Arsenal again? Performing to an outstanding standard every week for Arsenal? Exactly. Something of which can't be said of Taylor with us, and this he's young stuff is a load of shite. If you're old enough, you're good enough. He's played over 100 games for the first team ffs. I love it when people comment on good players never realising that they were once distincly average in their young years. eg Frank Lampard. Anyway, we are all entitled to our opinions. Maybe I am wrong. Time will tell. I love it how people talk about Taylor still being young, which isn't an excuse for him anymore due to his inexperience. Or when people say they rate Taylor but can't actually tell me what he's good at. To be fair, hes good at waving his arms around..
