7th is where we should come as a club presently. best its going to get Stevie, while they behave like a selling club ie selling the best players and wittholding the money from the manager and helping him to build the best team possible. Clubs like Bolton etc have hit those sort of positions for a year or two, then go crashing down when the manager etc changes, this is the path NUFC are on and the way things are going to go under this policy, because that is how football works. I don't need to tell you this, but there are still quite a number of know-nowts and/or out of towners who are so wet around the ears they think differently because they don't understand football or are still clinging to their irrational hatred of Fred.

Mike Ashley will NEVER match the Champions League and european qualifications of his predecessors, and if you are waiting to prove he does, you're going to have a long, long wait. Only HTT wants him replaced. Mick and some others (Me,Wullie,Tron sometimes) are discussing his shortcomings (mainly around the type of workmanlike and battling football).
