  1. haha. Rubbish. Stop insinuating falsehoods, I thought you were the board policeman and are picking people up for this sort of thing ? I'm not insinuating falsehoods. You've said that until the "other £27m is invested" you won't be happy, which means that any money recouped through transfer deals, you want spent on transfer deals. So despite improving the squad, you're not happy. Despite having a strike force which have a goal scoring record, you're not happy. Despite a central midfield which is the envy of the majority of the league, you're not happy. Despite being 6th and buying the targets identified by Pardew, you're not happy. see a pattern? no, you said " if we sold our entire squad for a sum total of £500m and bought the very best players in every position for a sum total of anything less than £500m you wouldn't be happy." That is a false insinuation, and its also crap. You said - also - you would in your role of board policeman, clamp down on such false insinuations, but are now doing it yourself ?
  2. nowt to do with signing a new number 9, my position is clear, for anyone with half a brain. Its because we are selling our best players and not backing the manager, in his wishes and with the money, in the way a big progressive club ought to do. The players sold are all being more than adequately replaced, and the manager just signed a player he says he's been tracking for 2 years. These are just sound bites that you're coming out with. They aren't true. Your stance on the £35m is a bit ridiculous - if we can improve the squad for less than that figure, that is a good thing. Other clubs are actually envious of our ability to keep picking up these bargains, and yet you can't see it because the numbers don't add up to 35. It's such a stupid argument. I made a post or two on Newcastle Online 3 or 4 years ago saying I thought Pardew was a good manager with a good future [look for it and bump it if you don't believe me] so I would def back his judgements, that isn't to say every judgement he makes is correct though, because nobody in the world has ever got every decision like this right, not even Brian Clough and Peter Taylor. Expecting the entire fee to be recycled back to the manager is not a stupid argument at all, it is what big clubs do, and it is what you as a supporter of a supposed big club, should be expecting and demanding.

  4. Fair enough, lets see if the other 27m quid turns up and nobody is sold.
  5. good business for Mike Ashley. Where is the other 27m quid ? barely covered the losses on wages to Owen, Martins, Viduka and duff the year they got us relegated. and 3 of those players moved on to clubs that played in europe too............while we were relegated. "Good business", obviously. Not the best three players to say that about. Owen is doing fuck all at Man U. Martins is unwanted wherever he goes. His season at Wolfsburg saw him hardly played, while the club flirted with relegation. He's now in the middle of Siberia and not getting any games. Viduka never moved to any other football club. He living it LARGE in Melbourne. Good weather and coffee there, though. Lets hope this new player is better than Martins. Ironic, because at the time, the vast majority thought he was the dogs bollocks, and when I said he wasn't, I inflamed the majority opinion to oppose my views. Again. Whats new. I think people are so obsessed with me, they just disagree with anything I say for the sake of it. Incidentally, as well as Martins, who also cost 9m quid at the time, the hysteria about this new signing reminds me of the hysteria that surrounded the signing of Boumsong, highly ironic again as JSM has named him as a waste of money. If only we all had such hindsight. He and others should think about this, they are setting themselves up for a big fall. What i say about the club is correct, and in time will become ever more obvious, its quite amazing that some people haven't realised the truth yet. I thought Martins was shit as well, and was very vocal about it. However, I don't think that people only said he wasn't shit because they were obsessed with me and just wanted to disagree with me for the sake of it. D you see how my take on the matter is a lot healthier than your frankly insane claims? Seriously, you need to take a break from this place. omg Gem, people just disagree with anything I say because its me. The hysteria about this signing is the same as that of Boumsong and Martins. Why do people do this ? The ones doing it are notable. We all like to see the club sign players, but the ultimate is if they are up to it and are good players for the club. Most of us realise this, so why are they all pissing their pants in excitement, especially when the bigger picture is that Mike Ashley has still pocketed the vast majority of this money for Carroll. I stand by what I say, he's got to back his managers 100% in the way a big progressive club ought to do, unless of course you [not you] think NUFC aren't a big progressive club, and I have to say it appears there are people who do not think this.

  7. Here comes the voice of the Newcastle Online experts. Shame I didn't moan when we were playing in the champions League, and insist the club was badly run etc, like most of the fools on your message board. Not my board, I and many others didn't moan, not like you make out anyway. Pretty sure you have paranoid schizophrenia, not taking the piss, look up the symptoms and see if you think it applies to you.. * Condescension - sometimes the patient may seem patronizing; perhaps they may feel they know stuff other people don't and subsequently assume such a manner. * Delusions - The patient may firmly believe something, even though there is incontrovertible evidence that it is false * Increased consumption of drugs (including illegal ones) and alcohol * A preoccupation (obsession) with at least one delusion. * The individual may also have delusions of personal grandeur - a false belief that they are much greater and more powerful and influential than they really are. * An individual with paranoid schizophrenia may spend an extraordinary amount of time thinking about ways to protect themselves from their persecutors. oh dear. Gayjon making unfounded accusations, personal too, I hope Fish the self appointed policeman is going to pick him up for that. Bet he doesn't. What a shame that he and others actually think there is something wrong with having a drink [which I haven't and didn't at the time], what world do they live in, are they watching too many Australian soaps where drinking half of lager portrays you as an alcholic. What a bunch of tarts. His comments regarding NO are bollocks too, they have even more Ashley apologists than here.

  9. fixed. Laughable that a diehard football supporter supports his man in the pub, in Newcastle, rather than go to games input his own cash into the club. If you took part on this forum like the rest of us rather than just moaning you would realise I have a season ticket mug. "mug" Are you up for my bet then ? When is your man going to finish 5th, so all the moaners can boo that they didn't qualify for the Champions League ? Try to remember your meds in the morning. Not taking my bet then ?
  10. you and CT. Gloomy and the grey man. You come in pairs. You're like Pinky and fucking Perky. And your like Victor fucking Meldrew ah. Never heard of him, I've got more to do, like watching NUFC play, which is how you build up knowledge and expert judgements.

  14. 25m quid left, can't you count ? -£5.75m for Ben Arfa -£7m for agent's fees (official publication) -£3m for Obertan -£ difference between Nolan and Cabaye's fee. Isnt it? Agents fees ? Do all the progressive clubs deduct agents fees when they back their managers ? Ref Obertan, I thought everybody was saying how great it is not to waste any money on shit footballers anymore ? Still, the final league positions on a long term basis will determine which transfer policy was best overall , wouldn't you agree ? We're discussing pounds, not players. Whether Obertan is shit is irrelevant. All the clubs recently published their total costs of agents fees, ours was near the top. All clubs are required by law to submit accounts for tax purposes so yes, to answer the side-tracking and bizarre question, all progressive clubs deduct agent fees, or their accountant would go to prison. Liverpool deducted the agents fee from the sale of Torres, when they backed their manager, did they ? This is the actions of selling clubs, NUFC have millions left from the sale of Carroll regardless. Maybe some of these out of towners might support their man now by putting their cash into the club ? Maybe you could give the club some credit for putting YOUR money to good use by making this signing it's not my money, its the money from the sale of Carroll, and there is 27m left. You buy a season ticket, it is your money. All income generated through season tickets, merchandise etc goes into the club. You contribute so its your money, understand? Anyway, you excited to see him play, from your seat in the Leazes end? Is it a good signing? errr....as I've been doing precisely that for over 45 years, I do indeed. How long have you been doing it ? Have you seen him play ? I haven't. What if he's another Obertan, Routledge, or no better than Ameobi or Best ?

  17. CT said the best since Keegan. I doubt it. Very much.
  18. Cisse is an exciting signing but lets not get too carried away just yet. I'll agree it's a statement of intent and perhaps a policy shift if we get to February 1 without losing Colo or Tiote. you're boring the arse off everybody again. You should be more upfront and admit you are repeating my sentiments.

  20. rubbish. I'm looking forward to finishing higher than 3rd in the premiership, and playing in the San Siro and the Nou Camp in the Champions League, according to you. How much would you like to bet me that it doesn't happen ? I take it by "pantomine dames" you mean those who booed a team because they only finished 5th ? When is your man going to finish 5th ? Answer = never.

  23. omg. Laugh of the century. Keep it up, fool. This sort of shite is what lets some people down, sometimes I really wonder if this place is becoming more like Newcastle Online, when I see utter shite like this.
  24. quite amazing the amount of people, sorry fuckwits, who are still accepting that 27m quid has been pocketed of the Carroll fee. And nobody has been sold.........yet
  25. good business for Mike Ashley. Where is the other 27m quid ?
