I'd add that I don't hate Gem for the Mindy Project as I like the lass but just don't think it's that good. I do however think he should be shot with shit for recommending that Girls.
-
I like it but it's gone on too long now and should have been finished about 3 seasons ago. The constant repeats on e4 don't help.

"Oil revenue" yeah from who, cunt? (Fallon not CT)

Well judging by the press reaction from the usual suspects, there's the usual praise the flag bullshit being spouted. People describing Benn's speech as churchillian being a good example. (And ironic given he ordered chemical weapons to be used in Iraq in a previous clusterfuck).
-
The whole point of the debate was so gibbering imbeciles could bray their relish about killing people to the media. Typical British imperialist conflict glorification.
-
Also I'd ask Benn if he's so keen on moral action against cunts, I presume he would support action against Turkey and Saudi Arabia.

She'll be backing a return to Blairite bollocks when Corbyn fails. She lost me when she voted for the welfare bill.

Millions of Christians believe in an apocalyptic vision tbf.

My boss got the bullet this morning - supposedly because of negative relationships with business stakeholders. I think I'm coming around to the idea of applying for it - not sure I'll have any chance but we'll see. Not a big team - 6 including me shortly to go to 8 or 9 and I wouldn't want anything bigger than that but I reckon I could do it.
-
Pretty much what we've concluded on here then.

Hitchens' book is more aggressive. The bloke in guardian - Andrew Brown - who claims to be an atheist but is an ultra-apologist for all faiths hates Dawkins with a quite amusing passion. The utter bullocks he's written on the subject is astounding.
-
Dawkins certainly doesn't limit himself to any particular religion. I don't agree with everything he says buts it funny to see his detractors (even the supposed atheist ones) apply religious mores by saying if you are a "fan" of his then you must believe his every word without exception.

The phrase under discussion was "just a kid" being used as an excuse. He later said he should have used the Bulger murderers as a better example which though completely over the top in pure comparison terms, shows he was making a point unrelated to the kid being Muslim.
-
I disagree with Harris on a number of topics but as I said above Dawkins was right about the clock boy- it was engineered completely - probably by his dad.
-
It sits atop of the dung heap of all religions for me but I'd use "more" rather than "uniquely".
-
Stoked by atheist writers or stoked by terrorist murders? Wrong of course and there will be underlying issues but I don't think people who do that know who Harris is tbh.

What a load of complete fucking shit that article is. I don't blame uneducated people from the third world for being believers, I blame the fuckers who maintain that status quo. The deluded idiots are people in the west for who it should be obvious it's complete shit but still apologise for and respect idiocy. And Dawkins was right about that cunt with the clock as well.

Should have launched an app to translate what they were saying. Tell them if it's private to leave the room. In my previous job I had two Russian cunts switching languages mid conversation while they were talking to me, sentence by sentence, depending whether it needed my input at that stage. I ended up getting up and leaving.

The other week I was thinking about that drinkwater who played for Leicester against us - I don't have a clue where they got him from but couldn't help thinking if they can find players who are obviously better than Anita, Colback and a diminished Tiote then why the fuck can we not? I think Nolan must be the last decent British player we signed.

Couple of people have holidays before then so last chance and no problem booking now.

Fucked off at 12 for Xmas curry/drinks. Now on way home drunk as fuck.

The correlation worldwide between education and religiosity would suggest otherwise. The US is a bit of an exception overall admittedly but within the country the correlation applies.

The last time anything vaguely left wing was mooted was by Foot and the major factor then was more the Falklands than any kind of mass rejection of ideas. As I've said before the infamous manifesto was okay in hindsight though I accept unilateral disarmament was a big faux pas at the time.

It was much lower in the late seventies but has massively increased with 35 years of tory policies.

Tried to tell you before that gdp means nothing when inequality persists. All "growth" does is benefit those at the top and does not make the country in any sense "better off" because the extra wealth is either held or offshored rather than spent.
