Shearer certainly (Wise was sent packing), but yes I think on balance he gave Kinnear more authority (or allowed Kinnear to take more authority) than Keegan.
What really pissed me off about the Llambias interview was when he said that Keegan's "sack the numpties" demand had no chance of happening yet 9 months on it was a nothing decision (either pre-planned or asked for by Shearer) to get rid of the dwarf.

I also watched the first episode of Curb your Enthusiasm yesterday and will certainly be watching more.

Some good away trips which as I said before I'll be making more of - depending on the timing I'd agree with Plymouth as a 0 if its in the depths of Winter but it was an excellent day out when we went ther in late April/May in 1990.
Of course I realise its a pisser of an actual trip for those in the NE but surely a chance for a weekend.
New grounds for me: Leicester, Doncaster, Blackool, Cardiff, Swansea, Millwall, Coventry.

Don't know whether its been mentioned but Shearer was spot on in his interview - the goal was disallowed because the refs will have had Nolan's actions for Taylor's goal highlighted in their weekly briefing.
Funny how that briefing never includes what Liverpool do at corners or how much Man Cunt/Chelsea players dive and whinge.

That's my view which means there may be hope - I honestly think he looked decent early on but has lost form and now looks less suited to the English game than he did at the start of the season.

I was happy with the Keegan we got last year - I thought he was older, wiser and more realistic but the passion still burned. I think just 3 years with Shearer coming on board later with a view to replacement would have worked.
I caught some eps of ST Voyager (Soz) yesterday which were all time travel based - they all involved setting the timeline back to an improved version - I'm not sure they got all the paradoexes right but I'd love to wake up next Monday with KK still here and looking at Europe next year rather than fucking Barnsley.
