I have to join the unpopular camp and say I agree with Fish - cowardice always comes to my mind - more for the "damage" to those left behind than for the actual act though I can see the argument about it being worse going on living if life is that bad. Pushing drugs in a quiet room is one thing - jumping in front of a train and causing trauma to the driver/cleanup crew is another imo.

Very funny in its day but been repeated too many times now - agree they should have stopped with the watch. I think the scene in that one where Rodney bought the roller for Del is up there with the end of Blackadder 4 for the most moving scene in a comedy ever (or any other show for that matter).

I expect ANY footballer to be able to hit a decent corner every now and then - should I be thrilled when a £9.5m player does it? Nothing angers me more in football than professional footballers failing to hit the target with a chance from a reasonable distance - Should I accept a £9.5m player who cannot do it? The old "no control over the fee" cliche is sometimes fair enough but I find it fucking laughable that people can defend a player who cost that much money who doesn't look good enough for the reserves. Wanting someone who we think may be a good player to do well is one thing - wankfests over "fantastic corner deliveries" is so far beyond desperation its hilarious.

Unlike you, I was there yesterday and I can categorically say there was no booing whatsoever until the final whistle, when boong is perfectly acceptable imo. You have absolutely no rights to criticise the people going to the match when you have no way of knowing what actually happened, let alone contributed anything yourself. Actually, you do have the right to say what you think (which is based on what, exactly?), but that doesn't mean you aren't talking absolute bollocks, does it? Have know way of knowing what had happened? What do you think Im sitting in an Igloo here? Why is it that armchair fans can't accept that the reason people actually do go to games is ther might possibly be a difference in the experience ie real versus imaginary?

Yesterday was my first home game of the season - considering the performance I thought the crowd were actually quite good - but then again maybe leaning towards indifference is worse than all out rebellion.

Why was someone who was "in bed" arrested out of interest? Identified? If it had been the classic "caught up in something in the wrong place at the wrong time" then I could understand it as I've seen it happen but my gut reaction is that picking someone up who as I said was "in bed" seems a bit random. Just at that point this twat next to me turns to his mate and asks him what time he was going out the next night. If I'd had an Uzi the fucker would have bought it there and then. On a related note, for festivals I'd have a bloke in the lighting rig picking off fuckers with their girlfriends on their shoulders with an air rifle.
