Therfore, I tend not to bother watching any show that 'took America by storm'. However, I have heard so many friends and colleagues telling me that this show is really that good, that I am thinking of buying the box set of the first 5 or 6 series when I go away again. Well, to describe it loosely it's a bit like Goodfellas in terms of the characters but because there are so many episodes/series you get a real insight into their personal lives and the ups and downs with their family etc. including some great interaction between Tony and his 'shrink'. It's very well written and acted and it's head and shoulders above 99% of things you see on TV and the quality has been maintained throughout.
