If he was to come he would bring Steve Kean with him.

Who's he?

Was Coleman's assitant at Fulham. Coleman kept coming out with comments such as, "I'll only renew my Fulham contract of Steve Kean gets a new one also."

As long as it means Pearson fucking off.

Aye. He was the only miserable cunt at St James Park last night, and that was after a win.

Yes, he was...

Reporter at the post-match interview: "You could see on the evidence of the last few hours just what can happen here, it's been an astonishing transformation in a matter of hours, don't you think?"

Pearson: "In what sense?"

Miserable bastard :icon_lol:

Thing is, and I'm not saying we should definitely get Coleman in, being a good no.2 / assistant manager / first team coach (delete as applicable) is very different from being a good manager. Obviously some can do both but look at those who have struggled too - McLaren, Kidd, etc. So Coleman not being a great manager doesn't mean he couldn't do well under KK here.

COLEMAN IN MAGPIES FRAME

Chris Coleman is reportedly in the frame to be named as Kevin Keegan's assistant at Newcastle.

Keegan made a sensational return to St James'Park on Wednesday and watched his new troops beat Stoke 4-1 in their FA Cup third round replay.

One of Keegan's first job will be to bring in his own backroom team and reports suggest he is preparing a move for Coleman.

Coleman is available after resigning as Real Sociedad manager on Wednesday and he is believed to enjoy a good relationship with Keegan from their days at Fulham.

Former Newcastle hero Alan Shearer is a popular choice among fans to be Keegan's assistant with Shearer saying he would be willing to talk to Keegan if he came calling for him.

Nigel Pearson was Sam Allardyce's No.2 at Newcastle and it remains to be seen if Keegan will keep him on in his new-look backroom team.

One of Keegan's former players Lee Clark is also set to be given a role as first-team coach at St James' Park.

Doubt the media have a fucking clue, as they've proven in the last week or so.

Get Coleman in, sharp as mustard apparently.

:icon_lol: Keen as.
