Also about baresi, according to wikipedia he played 1977-1997, so by the time he retired i was only 8.

Fucking hell, you're older than me? ;)

:icon_lol:

have you ever seen baresi play?

Have I fuck. :icon_lol:

But I'd like to think you had at least heard on him?

Fuck me, it's like someone in 10 years time saying that they'd never heard of Ronaldo.

hardly

It probably is like.

attacking players are more well known than defenders as they are the entertaining players

Baresi is arguably the greatest defender that has ever lived though.

well the only way i would have heard of him is if he was on tv back when i was 8 as i didnt go on the internet when i was that old and i certainly didnt watch much italian football back then i doubt i ever seen him.

The clearance you speak of was cutting out a Bolton pass that was headed for the unmarked player stood behind him, his slip was exactly that, a fucking slip. And like I said, the penalty was cos he hoyed himself in front of a shot that was flying in. It wasnt deliberate and he wasnt booked and it ultimately saved us a goal that would have ended the match 1-1. Get back on FIFA and leave real football to people that know what they are talking about

I hope you've had an opportunity to rewatch the game or at least these three incidents because what you've seen and what actually happened are two different things.

Today's game proved that Taylor is nothing but a liability and if we're if for Senderos let's hope it's to replace Taylor and not for back-up.

I take it you werent at the match? Cos If you were you would have seen he had a cracking game with Colocinni. He put his body on the line for the penalty and saved what was a certain goal and then cleared another goal bound shot with his head near the end.

Get a clue Triggy and dont just listen to Metro Fm on match days

I'd save your defence of Taylor for a different match if I was you.

Baresi was indeed awesome but he only got in the national side when scirea retired.

scirea was the daddy.

will i get ridiculed for not knowing who he is either? even though he died when i was 6 months old

Not by me.

Triggy = Spoony

In Taylors defence, he kept his shirt on and wasn't the last off the pitch.

:icon_lol:

Keep it up.

I wonder why that was ;)
