If you fancy a good read give Killing Rommel by Stephen Pressfield a go, it's a novel/fiction but factually brilliant in terms of the LRDG (SAS) and how they operated.

Pressfield's Gates of Fire is a tremendous read as well, about Thermopylae, it's the book they should have made into a film instead of 300 IMO.

I've read them both, TP. KR is a tremendous read and totally agree with you on GOF and 300. 👍

If you like westerns and you like fit lasses, The English (iplayer) is a 6 part Western with Emily Blunt in.

First episode was quality. It looks amazing.

I think you'll like this show. Proper throwback Western. Every other shot looks like a painting. And then there's Blunt.

I'll give it a look, westerns, for me, either tend to be very good or pretty shit with no middle ground.

Every review I’ve seen for it says the cinematography is amazing, and to definitely stick with it until Spall turns up?

And, of course, Emily Blurt.

On the list.

The Good Nurse is a canny watch on Netflix. Based on the true story of Renton's time at Rake Lane General.

Jessica Chastain?
