charvski 0 Posted July 29, 2009 Share Posted July 29, 2009 Over rated shite the usual suspects is a cracking film, I love it. 2001 a space odyssey however is one of the biggest heap of crap films I have ever seen, but my dad loves it, and I sat through 30 mins of the shit, before deciding to tell him I thought it was shit and off to do something else. Casino is underated if you ask me. +1 I'm not a big fan of Stanley Kubrick on the whole. Most of his films look good (e.g. 2001), but are slow and a bit wank. I like Dr. Strangelove though. Eyes Wide Shut is one of the worst films ever made, and AI was a good idea ruined. A History of Violence was, but nowhere near as good as the critics have made it out to be. They will in future now that theres going to be 10 nominees for best film. Comedies usually get screenplay or actor nods if they're any good.
