Dirty Bastards! I was gona start a thread actually about what you would buy if you won £45 mil.

For me it would be

House in CLS - £1,000,000

Flat overlooking Central Park - £4,000,000

Blyth Spartans - ???

A nice round the world trip for 6 months and a couple of nice cars too. Bank the rest and live on the £1.5mil a year interest, running the spartans as my full time job I reckon

might be Alex or Gemmill.

I'm not from North Shields though.

Ye are, aren't ye? I always thought you were.

I know that, because I've told you otherwise a few times  I've never even lived there. I've rarely even been there actually.

Elsewhere, a man spent the weekend believing he had won a share of the giant Euromillions jackpot only to find out he hadn't won a penny.

James Bramwell, 46, of North Shields, North Tyneside, even borrowed £1,000 to pay off his debts. However, he later discovered they were the numbers from a different draw.

Remember the bloke who killed himself because he thought his numbers had come up but he'd failed to put them on for that week. Best part was, only four of his numbers had actually come up anyway. You shouldn't laugh I suppose but what a fucking plank.

Why would you kill yourself anyway though? Fair enough you'd be gutted, but money isn't as important as happiness. If you're going to kill yourself over something like that, you might as well do it anyway.

Exactly. You'd be gutted but it's not the end of the world. Or it shouldn't be.

Not as extreme, but I recall a couple who lost their winning ticket (and Camelot refused to redeem it) let it ruin their lives, the sad twats.

I don't do the lottery, not even sure I'd want to win it if I'm honest. I'd feel differently if I was skint and on the dole like.

I think anyone who killed themselves over something like probably had underlying depression anyway.

He was married with kids so maybe it was just an excuse
