Saw this as well for you @@Gemmill

Now you can combine your two favourite hobbies [emoji6]

Seriously though, it's their cycling event on Thursday if anyone's after any new kit / accessories.

(The Aldi app is mint).

It's German and from Aldi so it'll be grand. "Das Bier für jeden Tag" does make it sound like it's setting standards at the low end of the scale though.

Ayatollah Hermione

Had some of that Lagerbier Hell in Tilleys the other week. £4.65 for a bottle but I was swaying after two. Goes down far too easily for how much it sends me loopy.

Wonderful stuff that. It was everywhere in Munich (about €2 too), seen a guy on the train neck about 8 of them on the way to Berlin, from 8am onward.

I didn't really get too pissed or get a hangover when I was drinking in Germany/Austria but it's put me off British drink. I haven't drank anything since I got back.

Working in Vienna this weekend and it's the Wiesen Fest. Football and Rugby on Saturday night then got to be somewhere at 8am on Sunday. Could be messy.

Pack extra underpants. You don't want anymore bowel adventures at the airport.

Christmas Tree

The Aldi Christmas Drinks brochure is a thing of beauty.

Drooling.

Very tempted by a 2010 Chateau Croix Du Rival, Lussac St. Emillion and the suggested Beef Wellington to go with it.

Kevin Carr's Gloves

Just had a lovely evening at West at Charing cross. A pint of Dunkel to start, then the Munich Red, then the St Mungo, then a Black and back to a Dunkel to finish. Now on the train home with young people looking at me and laughing as I am lip syncing to the Bluetones on my iPhone.

I live near a bar in Manchester called port street beer house, you can walk in any day of the week and they have different beers on. All generally smaller breweries and 90% are class. If any of you are doing man city away, it's a 15 minute slow walk from the ground.

Maybe the missus is trying to distract you so she can hide the presents?
