Just a heads up for any of you that have kids that are as obsessed with The Gruffalo as mine is. Theatre Royal 15th-17th June - a stage adaptation. Take your fraggles for a stroll through the deep, dark wood whilst introducing them to the wonderful world of theatre at the same time!

We're doing on the 17th which happens to be Himself's birthday. I'm not sure this is what he has in mind as a birthday treat...

I'm not sure who The Gruffalo is but I saw someone mention he looked like Paul Wyn last night.

"He has terrible tusks, and terrible claws

And terrible teeth in his terrible jaws

He has knobbly knees and turned-out toes

And a poisonous wart at the end of his nose

His eyes are orange, his tongue is black,

He has purple prickles all over his back"

Paul Wyn to a T i reckon ;)

My kids love me reading that to them (and the Gruffalo's child). Though on the down side, my 4yo is soft as clarts and is scared of anything in an oversized suit (so any panto like outfit).
