Goalden Tribute

Recommended Posts

Anyone else get their 48 page goal-den tribute to Shearer in the Chronicle last night - 48 pages FFS! That's nearly as big as a normal edition of the Chronicle.

I bet you Shearer got his.

Yep, a photo of every goal or celebration. Which as you can imagine is a bit boring! o/

Bloody hell, what will it be come the end of the season when he retires once and for all ?

For a lot of fans, a huge celebration that he's gone.

Completely agree. A lot of fans have short memories though.

Anyone that really celebrates Shearer's retirement would have to be a bit daft, but the way he's played for a lot of this season it'll be something of a relief tbh as he's really struggled.

I can now picture him in the Little Britain newsagents clutching his copy and the bloke behind the counter saying "planning a wank?"

hes a ledge no doubt. But my respect for him dropped a teeny bit when he played on this season. I liked that Milburn had the record cos he actually won something with the club.

Then again, if we stop fucking about and get a decent manager in we could be in with a shout of the FA Cup, especially if Owen gets his arse in gear.

As me grandad says 'his leg hasnt bloody dropped off, kick with your other foot if your toe hurts, whey you bugger!'

Only an hour late, that has to be some kind of record for Sammy.
