Although I'm not a huge fan of the book, I really can't see how it's in any way, shape or form pretentious.

Bit teen angsty but 'Catcher in the Rye' is one of best novels of the 20th Century imo. A lot ot people don't like it because they're too cool for popular stuff though. They're the pretentious ones :gay:

I only like stuff you've never heard of - preferably written in Japanese - FACT.
