  1. The secret diary of Lee Ryder aged 44 and a half 16/02/2019 Oh this year we're off to sunny Spain! Y Viva Espana! EEEh ya fucka, diary. The things ah get to do in this crazy world of following NUFC just so me loyal punters get their daily fix of Ryder hot takes of life on the United beat as Olly used to say. Ah managed to get to Murcia via an easyjet flight to Alicante then bussed the rest of the way to the United camp, 'living the fucking dream' diary! Lol. When ah fund oot aboot the trip ah thought ah'd ring rund the lads and kill two bords with one stone which is something all us seasoned hacks know is the way to get the scoops. Anyways, ah bells cockeyed Mala and he let on that Pigeon chest Campbell was thinking of having a second stag do after his first got ruined by getting drugged and bummed by a couple of rent boys in Budapest after a prank got a bit oot a hand. Like Hannibal off the A-Team, ah fucking loved it when a plan got together and thought we'd ah'll gan on the piss after the friendly v CSKA Moscow where ah'd metamorf, meteormophis, err change into Balou with the NUFC stuff and only do the bare necessities with a Rafa quote, a player quote and a 'five things' bit before giving the Spanish senorita hinnies six nowt later on! Ah'd also gave one time Spanish Toon defender, 'Sore-finger-on-my-chip' Marcelino a bell asking him to turn up so ah could tek a photo of him as ah knew he lived close by. "Senor Ryder! I am having a family BBQ that day! I cannot make it, my old friend" he said on the phone. Ah then reminded him of a certain Thomson House cleaner called Jeanette and how Senora Marcelino might want to hear a few tales when he reluctantly decided to show up! (You have to be ruthless in this game, diary, kid gloves off). Anyways, after a shite kickabout ah got a couple of quotes, took 'fingers' pic then met the lads in Murcia toon centre. Ah'd already had a few chilled sangrias pitchside in the heat and mustn't have realised the potency as we headed oot. Ah was fucking rampant winking at the Iberian fanny and any holiday makers of the female variety. Ah was fucking mortal by the time we got to a nightclub and that's where these fucking Russian booncers set their lip up. "No! This one does not come in!" said fucking Ivan number one. "What ya talking aboot ya daft cunt! ah've anny had a few!" ah said trying to stand up straight. It was then ah noticed a CSKA tattoo on his knuckle! So, he was in the huff at not beating the mighty Mags in a friendly, eh? Thought he could mess with the former foot soldier of the Toon army? Ah was aboot to swing a punch when ah realised he was probably one of the MMA Russian hardcore hooligans. Ah thought to mesel that ah couldn't spoil Pigeon chest Campbell's second stag do after the first one went Pete Tong so ah let Ivan off the hook and we staggered to a brothel where even Cock eyed Mala got his end away and Pigeon chests arsehole remained unmolested! Lol. Anyways, flights to catch, NUFC stuff to write, Punters to keep happy! Ryder and fucking out.

  2. An observation - a few years back, Essembee was ridiculed on here (and indeed accused of being a mackem) such was his devotion to criticism of Sunderland and his pulling up of fairly irrational points to throw at them. I mean we all liked a dig but there were limits. These days, I would venture that Essembee is an almost respected member of the community in terms of his contributions (Sorry Essembee, but you can't have not been aware of this perception). Is this because he has raised his game as a poster? No, I don't think so. It's because Sunderland have lowered themselves to the points where the 'limits' have expanded, and now even the crazy shit Essembee comes out with seems acceptable when put alongside paedo players, consecutive relegations, spending millions on players who don't play for them, an inability to fill their seats with anything other than excrement, and hugely delusional visions of where they are as a club compared to the reality of their situation. Sunderland have become the club Essembee always believed they were. He's like some kind of mad bastard prophet.

  5. It's like the rise in racism we've seen since Brexit. They feel like Corbyn's leadership has validated their prejudices and that has emboldened them. Meanwhile Labour has dragged their feet at every opportunity to address those problems.

  6. I don't see that they had much choice tbh. Particularly Berger. The Labour Party is a fucking shitshow under Corbyn and just sitting on your hands can't be the answer.

  7. Corbyn's statement is of course, more of the same stuff he always says. I fucking hate everyone. The end.

  8. It would be much quicker if the VAR referee just made the decision, not get the on-field referee to walk over to a monitor and then do exactly what the VAR referee has been doing, i.e. checking several times and making a decision.

  10. Errr none of that. Basically what happened was that 'toonraider' fella looked like a far bigger nonce so I moved Essembee over to a regular member rather than a 'mackem'.

  13. I've worked as a contractor at Honda Swindon. As with all new towns, it's full of the descendents of post war inner cities i.e. Bristol & London. Pig ignorant and possessing an unbelievable bullet proof self assurance and utterly false sense of where they sit in society. They're basically the cider mackems.

  14. I doubt the EU have dropped a bollock. These FTAs work both ways, cars will be exported to japan, as well as plenty of agriculture. Not sure the EU 27 are as exposed to Japanese investment to the extent we are. Its looking shit for us though, which makes me wonder why the fuck we didnt veto it while we could. I guss the most we could do is delay it like.

  21. The dickhead Labour MPs tweeting self righteously should take a look at exactly how effective they're being in their "opposition" to the current government. They weren't getting into power anyway.

  29. Chukkas chucking it in then... BBC News - Several Labour MPs about to resign, say party sources http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-47274905 Interesting to see Labour also as catastrophically split and it's mps acting in their own narrow self interest as the Tories are. On a slightly more disappointing note I fear this news will see the return of CT to the TT political debating chamber today

  32. I don't disagree with the idea of prosecuting her etc. but I do think with a little more empathy applied to the case it could be a useful tool to disarm some of the anger inherent in the indoctrination/radicalisation of the people who are pulled into this life from the UK. Cynically, we have been presented with an opportunity to pretend we care about the people on an individual level which could aid in the defeat of this particular enemy long term. It is unsurprising that someone like Javid lacks the forethought to consult and actually think of the consequences of his actions when hes given the opportunity to pretend hes well 'ard. She might well be reprehensible, she might hold those views still, but her kids did nothing wrong and now they're dead, this one shes just birthed is a british citizen stuck in a warzone and the effort should be made to bring him back to the UK and give him a proper chance at life.
