From the brief highlights I knew Willems had a good touch to get Almiron away, but it was better than I initially thought.3 points

Went to the joint hustings for my constituency and the neighbouring constituency last night and it was a glorious shambles. More than half of the time was taken up by five independent/minor candidates, including a Christian People's Alliance woman who answered questions by reading from scripture, a lovely but bewildered Thai student who thinks London parks are important because we can use them to grow crops after Brexit, a middle-aged candidate for the anti-EU "Young People's Party" whose opening address was mainly centred on how he thinks his own party's name is rubbish, an aging LGBT anarcho-socialist who wants to turn the UK into Belarus, and a local Jamaican elder who blasted out reggae tunes on a portable sound system then used most of his allotted time to talk about knife crime, God's will, and how the event was racist because there weren't enough "dark-skinned people" in attendance. All amplified by the fact that it was organised and hosted by Extinction Rebellion, so the whole place was all banners and leaflets and petition sign-up sheets in the first place. To her credit, the sitting MP (Porno Naming Department's Vicky Foxcroft) was good when she allowed herself to go off-script instead of talking about the big red manifesto every 30 seconds, the Lib Dems were convincing enough, and one of the two Greens was very substantial and would probably get my vote if she was in my constituency (unfortunately I've got the other one, who's of the wishy-washy-animal-rights-y ilk). Anyway, for all I previously described him as a "Spurs-supporting blank page", the Lib Dem probably gets my vote for this tweet alone.3 points

The articles make the point in isolation but diametrically opposite ones by the same writer make it fully.2 points

When my grandkids are marching through the Great European Desert in 2075, to fight in the World Water Wars, it’ll be Jeremy Corbyns fault.2 points

If you told someone "right, come up with a person who embodies the very worst of Britain", it would be that human shitstain, Godfrey Bloom. He is every shitty fucking stereotype of an old, shriveled, Empire-loving, England for the English racist provincial cunt. He isn't even a Tory. The Tories don't want him. The fucking UKIP don't want him. Nobody could stand to be around him for more than 10 seconds, because he'll spend half of it breathing Carling fumes in your face (leering down your shirt if you are a woman) and the other half going on about "the war."2 points

You have to be a particularly sadistic, heartless cunt to offer that advice to a grieving father.2 points

I don't know about the tunes but he was definitely high on the WORD of the LORD. In all that, I'd completely forgotten about the sixth independent, a well-spoken chap who explained he was literally a "none of the above" candidate with no real positions beyond that. Terrific.1 point

And people make fun of me when I talk about the MSM There is going to be no trust in them if they deliver a Tory government. I know trust is low anyway, but even so.1 point

Turns out one of the blokes who restrained him was a convicted murderer on day release (really) . So maybe Boris will see the benefit of letting crims out of prison after all. You couldn't make this shit up1 point

In this rare Thursday night Premiership game, I can't see Bruce's men "steeling" any points as Sheffield "forge" ahead & "press" on in their quest for a European place. Sheffield will have the "bar"set too high. In their well "galvanised" team. Newcastle will hand the games to Sheffield on a "plate" as Newcastles "slag" of a manager looks on helpless. 2-0 P.S. Can someone delete my Men Of Steel match thread cheers Trooper0 points
