2. I’m not having a go at you, as we’re basically saying the same thing, but I do disagree with the last bit- it’s not beyond the pale, it’s entirely in keeping with his entire Presidency. He’s got over 25 sexual assault allegations against him, paid off a porn star and lied about it, hasn’t paid taxes, called his country’s dead soldiers “losers”, put immigrant children in concrete cages, sided with his boss Putin over his Western allies, etc etc etc… there’s a whole page of other shit against him. Any single one of the above would have sunk a Democrat candidate, yet the Republicans have backed him and the country is evidently 50/50. The “good” Republicans who have kept quiet until now are as much to blame as the likes of McConnell.

 4. I love the way there's this idea that Trump hijacked a decent party and corrupted it. Nixon, Reagan and Bush Sr were all horrible cunts and Bush Jr was a useful idiot puppet who was more than happy to just about steal an election. It's like arguing Johnson has turned the tories into cunts.

 8. Biden has taken the lead in Georgia. This Stacey Abrams, who lost the Governor race due to voter suppression a couple of years ago, has spent the last two years registering 800k Democrats. She has basically done this singlehandedly.

 15. Spot on, it’s just so fucking depressing that the Republican Party didn’t have the spine to nip this in the bud early. He’s constantly emboldened the type of fringe maniacs you reference, and the response has always been “oh but he didn’t mean that, he didn’t explicitly say it”, no but when you do things like retweet a video of 40 pick up trucks with your name all over them trying to ram a bus off the road and say “I LOVE TEXAS” that is (rightly) viewed as support for those actions. When the response to an attempted kidnapping of a Governor is to refer to her as a “nasty woman”, say you know nothing about the proud boys other than “they’re patriots, and I know they like me, a lot”, before topping it off by egging on chants of lock her up at a rally, that again is showing acceptance of the actions. Dr Fauci, a 70 something year old man who has served numerous presidents (of both sides) can no longer enjoy his daily run due to the threats made against him, he now can only go for a walk with a heavy security detail. Trumps response? Blame him for COVID, the economy, and say you’re going to fire him. I said as soon as I saw his response to the attack on the Biden campaign bus that there would likely be an attempt on Biden / Harris’ life made at some point due to it. He’s a vile, sickening excuse for a human, and all I can hope for is that he is eventually brought up on charges for everything he has done, from fraud, tax dodging, hate speech, inciting of violence, to his history of sexual violence, rape, and to be frank likely pedophile/predatory behavior (his name is all over Epstein flight logs, and it’s very fucking evident they were pretty close).

 18. Rappaport is always good value like. I think he especially pisses off the Trumpers as he hits back at them in the same aggressive, insulting manner they usually try to attack people with. I also fucking love when all the republicans talk about respecting the office of the president whenever someone insults Trump. I saw it after Chris Evans (the Captain America one) called Trump a walking toilet on twitter, just tons of “you should respect the president of the United States” coming from the same group of people that were basically saying they wanted to lynch Obama’s 13 year old daughter, and suggesting he wasn’t born in America ffs, total bunch of fucking snowflakes Trumps base tbh.

 36. Pennsylvania is going to be comfortable for Biden so Georgia isn't needed. I heard that actually the overseas vote tends to be democrat which cancels out the republican military vote, so its usually 50/50 anyway. Why any soldier would want to vote for the orange cunt is beyond me like. Dodged the draft 5 times with heel spurs and called their fallen comrades losers. And McCain too.

 38. The GOP are hanging Trump and his villainous tribe out to dry, their knives in his back to see them all off to a cosy federal penitentiary . There’s a theory that the plan wasn’t to get Trump into the Whitehouse per se, it was to get Kushner as close to the seat of power as possible. Watching the whole pack turn in each other is going to be fuckin great

 41.
Michigan judge dismisses Trump request to stop count A judge in Michigan has dismissed the Trump campaign's lawsuit to stop counting postal ballots in the state. Judge Cynthia Stephens of the state's first district appeals court said that the campaign filed the request too late - just hours before counting wrapped up - and that the suit was brought against the wrong individual (the secretary of state). The official does not have control over the local counting process, the judge said. The president's campaign was arguing that the count should stop until more Republican poll watchers could observe the counting process.
How much are they paying these lawyers? To lose on the merits is one thing but to bring the cases against the wrong person is what you’d expect of the work experience student.
