Where does it say the R is decreasing? We are currently having an explosion of cases, with every area of the NE going up bar York. A lot of this might be down to last minute blow outs before lockdown was implemented. Mind, my observations are that nobody gives a shit about lockdown this time around, other than pubs being shut, most people are socialising as normal. So I don't expect we are going to be in a good place come 2nd December. Personally I think what we needed was a full lockdown which was strictly enforced, not this half arsed shit. If we got covid down to manageable levels by Xmas we might have been able to ride it out until spring and vaccination. Not now though.

A lot like the UK, mainly England if I'm honest, we've just got to accept that a large percentage of the population are just downright nasty cunts.

Hi Everyone. Hope this isn't out of place here, just wanted to say hello and let you know about a podcast that myself and two friends have started. It's football based and all very light hearted. Anyway, the reason for me posting in here was that this week, we had Warren Barton on the podcast and he spoke very fondly of his time at Newcastle.
