benitez identified with and embraced with the support and the city in a way which makes a mockery of 'lifelong newcastle supporter' brucey's attempts. the closest the fat fucking manc mess has come to bonding with newcastle's support was when the fucking useless cunt had sleepless nights opting for 'who let the dogs outs' as a way of taking the piss out of the club/support/city if he got the opportunity to do so whilst managing the mackems. brucey is a morally bankrupt piece of human scum who shit all over his employers even after they'd stood by him after the death of his parents, no surprise though, he's got form for that sort of shite, he wouldn't recognise loyalty if it hit him in the face with a fucking shovel. (and it looks like it has) benitez meanwhile donated £96,000 of his own money to the hillsborough families. i'd concede to you that the football under benitez was hard to watch at times but given the constraints he was under for having the audacity to stand up to the fucking narcissistic cunt who owns us compared to the cock sucking sycophant 'local lad' brucey who's had a relative fortune lavished on him, the spaniard served up football like barcelona in their pomp compared to the mind numbing shite brucey presides over, quite comfortably the worst i've witnessed in over half a century, and by god i've witnessed some shite. i'm not entirely sure what your motives are for continually using brucey as a means to beat benitez with but i can assure you you do yourself no favours, on the contrary, you come across as a moronic, brain dead, fucking halfwit. give it a rest man, happy christmas!8 points

Except that’s not even close to being true. Unless you’re referring to PL games in which case you may wish to remember that Rafa took over a side destined for relegation and then being newly promoted while Bruce took over a mid table club. Also worth bearing in mind that Rafa has a net spend of minus £30m in his first fifty games whereas Bruce has spent about £70m.4 points

No need for apologies mate, tbh this place is pretty much the only place I can fully express myself without causing ww3 and am grateful for it. For all of us whose plans have to change it’s a massive kick in the teeth.3 points

Behave man Anyone with half a brain has been saying a 5 day lockdown break is fucking lunacy for weeks. The cunts accused Starmer of trying to ruin Xmas for saying as much. They knew about it on Thursday when they rearranged all of the tiers. Low and behold, 5 days to go, the whole country has their travel plans booked, preparations sorted, loads of offices shut down on Friday and now they get told the whole Xmas bubble is probably a bad idea now. Reactive rather than proactive like everything else they do day in, day out while they destroy the fucking country3 points

Got a letter from my daughter’s high school yesterday, which included this… So, Johnson wants them to do their own testing, but doesn’t seem keen on helping them execute it- what a shock Whilst NHS staff have rightly been applauded for their Herculean efforts during this whole shitshow, I think the schools have also done an amazing job. Within a week of it all kicking off, with no help at all from govt, they transferred their entire operations online and have since then carried on with, at times, drastically reduced staffing. Hats off 👍3 points

😄 That should have been my morning as well, instead I've treated myself to that clueless shower of shite. Take Wilson away this season and we'd be in the relegation zone. Of course we're still playing like relegation candidates but Wilson's nous and intelligence has helped to give us a return far greater than otherwise deserved.2 points

Gotcha. I fully agree. 👍 Also, apologies, just really pissed off that plans I had made can't now happen. Always hard but in our situation really complicated because this is the last Christmas we can have as a whole family on my side.2 points

I personally disagree. My actions are part determined by my perception of risk, but also partly by law. What Johnson should have done is said we will make the decision 1 week before Xmas and you must be prepared for a negative outcome, but it mightbe positive. Instead, he promised an open Xmas. People have now made plans which are difficult and expensive to change. People are sick of his hypocrisy and flip flopping and will use their "common sense". They will take risks. This all atems from Johnson's incompetence and over promising and under delivering. It was entirely avoidable. He's already trying to transfer blame to the public, this is what these people do, they never take the blame. Seems to me by your post you are sort of agreeing to this. Poor leadership can ruin a country very quickly. That's what we are seeing right now in the UK.2 points

Imagine being that much of a wanker that you think someone doing the absolute bare minimum during a pandemic where people are dying makes them a moron. Almost helmet of a bloke.2 points

Doing that now is a criminal offence, although that song has been a crime for a long time now.2 points

I bet David Moyes has a better record in his first 50 league games than Ferguson. So according to your logic Moyes > Ferguson.2 points

These look like they’re finding their feet so we’re the perfect team for them to play. Our manager continuing his Christmas generosity by gifting them all of the possession and letting them make chances for 90 minutes.2 points

How much of this “takeover bid” do we reckon is fuelled by Gandaft finding out that Sunderland has the most B&M Bargains per square mile in the country?1 point

It's not called the city of churches for nothing. I don't think anyone has ever found that much clarity in Radeliade since!!! 😃 edit: how come I can only see/use the emojis from the 1990s? Don't worry found them.1 point

Why does this Carlson knacker look like someone Columbo would be spending a lot of time with telling them there was something bothering him and always wanting one more thing?1 point

If that’s his policy, Sunderland will need a whole new squad! #Bantergeddon1 point

I know it's hardly an original observation but a huge chunk of everything that's wrong with this country can be directly traced back to the Mail and the Sun (and to a lesser extent the Express, though they're nowhere near as important as they wish they were). I find it remarkable how we're so willing to let them and their owners gaslight us over and over again.1 point
