What makes you think we'll stay up? I can understand anyone having hope we'll stay up but I don't see how anyone can retain confidence. We have 18 games left and will need to will about 8 of those unless the three teams around us have a level of shitness that's even worse than ours has been so far this season. That must be unlikely so we're going to have to do it ourselves. And given we've played Cambridge, Norwich, Burnley (twice) and Watford at home this season while only picking up a single win, confidence is not something I can muster. Yes we have more money than anyone else but rightly or wrongly they don't seem to want to risk getting their pants pulled down in this window, or the players we have identified as being ones to move us forward aren't interested in us for the time being. Quite simply we are running out of games and finding the kind of form that survival would take is certainly less than probable.

The only time he gets more than about 3 likes to one of his posts is when it’s playing to the SMB crowd. We’re roughly evens to go down so he’s probably right about it not being a bad punt. But he’s talking absolute fucking bollocks about the deal. 1) because it makes zero sense based on what you say and the outlay they’ve already made (especially settling the piracy dispute). And 2) because there’s not a hope in hell he had any inside track. So I think it’s both him licking the mackem’s hoops but quite possibly also because he’s insane enough to have convinced himself he’s onto something. At least until the effects of the spice and the absinthe shandies wear off

I know Storey is of course a total fucking idiot, but this is the type of crap I keep seeing from people and it makes no fucking sense. There’s only two (?) clubs owned in a similar fashion to ours in the top 5 leagues in Europe, we’re not just owned by some rich bloke who might give up or lose interest, or continue to make a mess of things, this lot will make a success of things. Yeah, it's a video game platform consisting of thousands of games, played on Android, IOS, or Windows. My kids are utterly obsessed by it, would prefer to play this any day over their expensive Nintendo stuff. Anyone can develop for it and potentially make a lot of money, including the kids themselves, with some 10 year old kids now earning more than their parents! Not mine unfortunately.
