Aye that was the key tactical decision that decided the match tbh, Milner effectively sitting on Bruno for 70 mins took him out the game and got Milner man of the match, the miserable looking ferret bothering Yorkshire cunt6 points

Which is precisely where their fans are tbh. They think they're finished. How many years is it? 75? Roughly equivalent to the number of years we'll have to listen to Gemmill harp on about how he called it5 points

Just went to Grand Old Team (Everton forum) to see how they're dealing with it over there. I think the following post is probably the most common: [Poor language removed]5 points

Apparently Phillips is no longer deserving of the Phillipsy moniker. Loosing your y is the ultimate shame for a mackem hero. Pray for Quinny and Bally.4 points

The amount of work I'm gonna have to do digging up all my posts calling this right, and digging up all the fucking fools who said I was wrong. I might genuinely have to take a couple of days off work.4 points

Milner v Schar was not a foul. The goal was was the right call. Mane v Dubravka yellow card was the correct call. No intention to hurt. People need some perspective. We played, in the opinion of the majority, shite and ended up losing 1-0. Earlier in the season we lost 4-0 to the team who are arguably not as good as Liverpool. Don't lose sight of the fact we're on a journey. I was expecting something like a 3-0 or 3-1 loss today. Take the positives and move forward. Man City are now our focus, not Liverpool4 points

Thought he was fucking dross today like. As Howay has said before even if he isn’t fully fit he fails to get the basics right far too often. Thought it was a really tough day for us and we probably did well to keep it to just the one goal. We were visibly tired in the second half after chasing shadows for long periods. We didn’t really have anything on the bench to change things in attack either, bar Wood. I’m not counting Gayle because he’s obviously not a player Howe trusts4 points

Tbf to the one I have on they just had to clarify what Sunderland are to give context as to why Henderson was being booed “he played for Sunderland, a club that’s just down the road from here”.4 points

I thought Everton would be in the mix from about November but I didn’t think they’d go down. I still have a feeling they’ll get out of it but I’m not sure if that’s just because I really, really fucking want them to get relegated3 points

Well it's funny you should say that, because I've just been doing a bit of research. And THIS is what I had to say on December 2nd. ....and THIS is what you had to say in response. ...and THIS is what is happening on the last day of the season and I'm picking your spot in it.3 points

As i said, ref set the precedent of protecting the Liverpool players early and in doing so, probably knackered our plan. Bit more quality and we’d have got something since they’re crawling over the line but it’s a stark difference from playing the likes of these and hoping that we keep it down to 3 or 4. We were genuinely competitive and worked their back four, even if we didn’t really carve out anything concrete other than Miggys disallowed goal. Still have a good shout of finishing top half which is frankly miraculous.3 points

Bruno had a tough game there. Thought he started to come into it a bit more after about the hour mark, but Liverpool were all over him every time he got the ball before that.3 points

Disappointing performance. The lack of passion in the game was frustrating, meaning there was nothing to close the gap in quality. Most frustrating was the amount of totally unnecessary offside positions demonstrating that players had absolutely no awareness at all. A lot of horrible individual performances as well.3 points

In a VERY similar vein, the guardian published this relegation battle rundown today and apart from their everton correspondent being the only one picking everton to not go down, there isn't anything resembling actual criticism of Lampard anywhere in the everton breakdown, its pathetic. Lampards had three jobs across 4 seasons, Derby, Chelsea and Everton and he is a few weeks from having failed to achieve the goals he was hired to at all three clubs yet there is absolutely ZERO major criticism of him from the sports press.3 points

Exactly, they basically had specials with Neville whinging about how bad the Glazers are didn’t they? Meanwhile we were getting fucking pelters for raising any type of complaint about Mike Ashley and Steve Bruce while they went balls deep on NUFC.3 points
