I'd have a grand bet on that with jordan too, just for the satisfaction in the event I lost of telling him to go and fuck himself when he asked for the money.5 points

Today they’re discussing, at length, our Fairs Cup victory from 1969 I mean they’re not bothered like. Mickey Mouse trophy. They’re not bothered. I only popped over for the frankly hilarious “sportswashing” fume. Which is absolutely great crack.4 points

I loved him even before he signed for us. I couldn’t believe when it happened. We were down south visiting family and my dad was driving and he had to pull over when the news came on the radio4 points

Stealing him from West Ham with no real effort at the last minute would be objectively the funniest thing we could do3 points

Yes but no but. Can't help but think the thing he has resigned over is designed to do the least damage to Johnson and by extension the Tories Hasn't resigned over Partygate, misleading Parliament, breaking the law, withholding information about his flat refurbishment, overriding treaties signed by himself, withdrawing from EHRC which would break the Good Friday agreement and on and on and on. No he has resigned over something that Johnson can spin as looking after industry and people jobs. In on it, and looking after his own, just like the rest of them.3 points

Aye we were in Umbria a few years back and you go into the towns and cities and it's just fit lass after fit lass. I bet they were absolute dripping at the sight of the ageing pasty bald headed former accountant as he lumbered from one area of shade to another.3 points

Seems you have corroborated my views 😛 Thick end of 30 years IT Project and Programme Management experience, but aye I don't have a scooby. Should have been paid way more as mainly worked with yanks, there should be a "suffering yanks" allowance.2 points

He took the job after the previous ethics advisor resigned due to Johnson ignoring his finding that Priti Patel had broken the ministerial code. He knew full well what he was walking into and subsequently cleared Johnson of any wrongdoing over his dodgy redecorating. Fuck 'em is the appropriate response.2 points

What a fucking wank opinion. He talks as if Southgate is a club manager with a 25 man squad, he doesn’t have to select that error prone keeper, and saying there’s no fit left back is ridiculous - he has other options besides Shaw and Chilwell there’s a load of PL or championship left backs that are English. Again flawed CBs is always a stretch to me if Stones is good enough for regular selection by the side that has won 4 of the last 5 PL titles, he’s good enough for England, the others are also better than what the vast majority of international sides can select. The creative midfielder bit is bullshit too, he doesn’t select any of them and whenever he does he chops and changes which one it is or throws them on late in the game, when they do come on they’re locked into his woeful formation that has zero fluidity or quick tempo about it. But aye, keep writing off the team of CL and title winners as “not good enough” in favor of the failed Boro manager which no decent club team will touch with a barge pole.2 points

I bought an inner tube from my local cycle shop the other week, and it was nearly three times what I paid for the same one a year previously. I asked the owner why it’d gone up so much and he said. “ Fuck off, I’ve heard it.”2 points

I've seen this put about on twitter and whilst I admit I know next to nothing about the lad, I'd be very surprised if a young up and coming international player had that attitude. If he was about 30 I could see this being a possibility but not at 22. If he picks Milan ahead of us, I have no doubt it will be for a combination of champions league football, playing for the champions who are one of the world biggest most historic clubs and the chance to live in Milan. And all of them would be perfectly valid reasons.2 points
