One of the best bits of that comment, aside from the similarity to their Wearside brothers, is it further shows the fucking delusion the Everton fan base has. The implication he’s making is that Eddie Howe is the only difference between the two clubs, which entirely misses the phenomenal job our owners have done - the two clubs are now fucking miles apart, Howe didn’t select these players our recruitment team did, while the turnaround has been at break neck speed it’s not by fluke. It also completely ignores how transformative Howe’s time away from management was to his coaching ability, again though the Everton fan shows similarity to the mackems that his football knowledge is basically if we had him we’d be class regardless of when they got him, the surrounding circumstances, etc. If Howe had went there he’d have been booed, the same way they boo and blame everyone as they have some delusion they’ve been a notable and competitive team over the Premier League era, but they haven’t they’re just a middling PL side along with Villa.

How has everyone gone on their 2022 goals then? I'm still working towards the goal weight I set one I stopped being fucking ill, it is definitely taking longer than I had hoped to get there but I am keeping my body fat consistently low as I slowly move up on the scales which is what I want. I am so much stronger than I was 6 months ago though, really got stuck into my training and kept the intensity up which is more of a mental game than a physical one, being willing to really grind out higher weights and constant improvements. Everything is better, but my back is fucking class. I would genuinely not believe where I am if I went back to a couple of years ago.
