  2. Not the first time they’ve had a 15yr old in an illegal position- never learn do they?

  4. I think he'll be good for us. He'll fit the pressing style well, he's high intensity too. The guy has been a detestable twat every time we've played them but I imagine a few of our current players are viewed in a similar way. This deal doesn't shake my faith tbh, I think once Howe is done with him he'll be a better version of an already decent player.

  7. he wouldn’t have been my first choice but I can see why we have gone for him. From what I’ve seen he has the energy, pace and work rate that suits Howe’s system. £40m sounds like a lot but we’re signing a highly rated young Englishman with his best years ahead of him and that’s the going rate. Arsenal paid £12m for a 16 year old Walcott and that was 20 years ago. Gordon’s goals and assist numbers aren’t special but he’s 21. This recruitment team have got everything right so far, we have to trust them. Remember when we weren’t sure if pope would start ahead of dubravka.

  8. He’s comfortable on either foot as well. Hard working, rapid, has an accurate shot on him, as well as being an out and out cunt on the pitch, while I’ve personally not rated him when I’ve seen him in the past (not a big sample size) I completely trust our lot so I’m excited to see what he’s like under Howe. His lack of goals/assists have been highlighted by some but he’s playing in a side where he gets fucking no support, they’re rarely high up the field, and they don’t retain the ball well, now he’s in a side that are the complete opposite in every regard. If we play Gordon, Isak and Almiron as a front three a lot of defences are going to have a fucking nightmare against the pace and directness there.

  20. this is stupid mackem cunt starts an anthony gordon thread a manages to misspell both parts of his name. it's not even like they're complicated ones to spell either. anyway, the gist is, as can imagine, gordon is fucking shite, they've got loads of better players and that one in particular, somebody called clarke whoever the fuck he is, is worth a far higher transfer fee. they never let you down! https://www.readytogo.net/smb/threads/antony-gorden.1599015/page-3#post-37658846 moron's had it pointed to him and corrected it, beaten by the link though!

  26. In other news, after months of delays we finally got the keys to the new house today. You'd think with all this extra time we'd be more prepared to move but it's opposite. Totally blindsided by it, came from out of nowhere. Half the shit we'd packed up months ago and put in the storage unit is already back here and unpacked. I'm currently only two cans deep and I'm already wandering around what has been castle blastronaut for 11 years shouting "how the fuck did you get back here?." at inanimate objects.

  28. Means that you can take a tiring Almiron for Gordon and bring Maxi on to the left side for Joelinton/Willock and not lose anything in an attacking sense

  30. Two of these are flukey wins against a shit Fulham side, one of them is a free flowing Sunderland side proving can beat anyone in the PL totally not scoring against the run of play. Who the fuck are half these Fulham players btw

  35. Even the manager at the time (couldn’t tell you who) said that’s too much for Grigg, dont do it. And it wasn’t even his money.

  36. In a more organised side and getting the ball in more dangerous positions, rather than having to carry from deep, he’ll come good, I think
