Very important, team seems much more together at the moment I remember Keegan saying he liked to build partnerships around the pitch, pairs of players who link well. At the moment him and Isak seem to be dovetailing nicely. Yes it's against "lesser teams" but the very complaint everybody was making was that we only turn up against the big teams For my money most important thing that needs fixing in the squad is cover for Isak. If he's out we've got nobody7 points

Just got word that I have been selected as the Lead EC Mentor for my district! EC(Exceptional Children) is same as Special Education FYI and looking forward to helping fellow teachers figure out the best way forward to ensure their students get and stay on the right path. Am a licensed expert on Dyslexia also which is rampant in our district and I think another reason I got the position. Anyway, off now to enjoy a nice Duvel in celebration! 🤘🍻7 points

I'd lace KCG like. His head would stand out like a sore thumb when I'd finished with him.6 points

I just had to rewatch the highlights to check I hadn’t dreamt Murphy’s backheel assist for Isak’s third goal. Beautifully cheeky bit of skill. Btw if Salah had done that it would be headline news…5 points

So basically Zoidberg is only here to practice his skills in dealing with "special" folks.5 points

Just put the global PL feed on for Man U v Bournemouth, Bournemouth 1-0 up and there's genuine angst and worry for Man U. Lads, you're supposed to slightly favour the underdog. Sorry? Oh right, you are favouring the underdog.3 points

I do like Saka. He's not a cunt like a lot of their players and the manager. Seems a top lad and a great player.3 points

We shouldn't be asking where it can be spent. We should be asking whether a foreign national who doesn't live or pay taxes in this country should be able to pump that much money into the political system. The obvious answer is no, and it should be stopped in that basis alone. But since you asked, Farage isn't exactly known for sticking to the rules, is he? And the election commission isn't exactly known for having the teeth to enforce them. Remember Brexit campaign spending? They broke all the rules there too, and once the vote had taken place, there was nothing anyone could do about it.3 points

I’d 100% keep him til the summer. Any new incoming will need to go through the EH process and even then, might take a good while to gel into the team.3 points

Can't wait for Gary Neville's "Podcast" tomorrow. Another 20 minutes of him crying about Man United, followed by 5 minutes summing up all the rest of the games.2 points

There’s very little objectivity in the media about their performance because loads of them are willing them to be a top side again.2 points

Crisp packet on the pitch klaxon, are they trying to hoodwink Amad to think he’s back at the SoS playing plodders ?2 points

I thought Grealish chose the wrong option going to man city which seems crackers looking at the stuff they've won but to me every time I see him he's in the wing where at Villa he'd drive on through the middle. Purely on his development it was a mistake imo. (He still gets picked for England because he's not going to be dropped playing for a CL team especially under Southgate).2 points

Aye we're coming back into the European mix just as their season is about to become pure bedlam as well. This season could still be a massive success despite some of the troubles so far.2 points

Aye it's 100% a purple patch for Murphy. That said, he has more purple patches than most of the Ashley crop, loves the club, and seems a great character to have around.2 points

Used to spar with my mates when I was younger. Not sure exactly what you’d regard as being a boxer but it’s at least an eye opener in terms of how difficult it is to hit and not get hit. Why like? Do you want a fucking fight? Because I don’t2 points

I’m happy for Murphy’. He’s a good enough as a squad player, cover a few positions and is good enough to allow better players a rest against this sort of opposition, in cup games etc. We still desperately need a new RW. None of our options in that position are really good enough for where we want to be.2 points

He's just lost a fight to the bloke in May. The answer was never gonna be "come back fatter".2 points

We've played 3 average to poor teams. He should have swept up on the Wissa chance (not the goal) but made a good save in the end to redeem himself. He is far better with his feet and teams don't press him like they would with Pope so it gives us a better chance to build from the back. I think he'll face bigger challenges when we play better teams but great start so far. 1 goal conceded in 3 games.2 points

What would the money be spent on? There's a cap of £55k spending on campaigning per constituency, which is £34 million in total. I'm not sure money plays as an important role in politics in the UK as it does in the states. Also think a stronger Farage will hurt the Tories more than Labour. But yes, if I were Starmer I'd make it illegal and close any loopholes.2 points

I reckon we win this - aye we've played some dross but we do look much better and I don't think that Liverpool game was just a fluke. We get a result here then go to Old Trafford with heads high, then I really think we can start to kick on into second half of the season. I'll go 2-0 as well.2 points

I've got two good'uns as well, most of their mates seem ok, let's hope they don't turn into sheep as they get older. On a personal note life looks like it could be getting a bit easier as the wife has been awarded a monthly payment after six months of waiting which now means I can go part time which is a massive relief and boon for both of us and the girls. (I just have to persuade the new job to let me do reduced hours and I also have an interview for a PT job on my doorstep so hopefully one of those options bear fruit). As far the rest of the world/UK, hard to ignore the shit but I'll try not let it affect my life.2 points

Kalvin Phillips is one of the biggest busts I have ever seen. I mean going from being at the World Cup with England and being a potential star for Man CIty, to now coming on as a sub for lowly Sheeran FC.1 point

One of the times I stayed near Ipswich for a couple of days for an evening match the day after a bank holiday it was a little town called Manningtree, they were as bemused by us as we were by them but it was a good laugh. One of the locals was called 'piggy' and his son, also called 'piggy' had a season ticket at Ipswich.1 point
