  3. Just stepped out the back of my house, in Forest Hall, and heard the unmistakable sound of “ Naaa na na na-na-na naaah Geordies!” coming from SJP. 7 miles away. Fucking glorious.

  8. Instead of watching the mags on sky they can watch Sun’lin til I die on (Saudi invested) Netflix on repeat. Or take a (Saudi invested) Uber to the Stadium of Light while enjoying a (Saudi invested) Starbucks. Alternatively, they can log onto (Saudi invested) Facebook on their laptops with a (Saudi invested) Microsoft OS to complain about the Saudi investment in Newcastle United.

  9. How the fuck that thought vacuum ever became prime minister is beyond me The only reasonable explanation I can think of is that she has a snapper like a horse’s mouth eating sugar

  10. Longstaff seems like a good lad, always gives 100% when he's out there and obviously comes from a good family but he hasn't progressed much in recent years. He's had a good run in the side in a strong midfield but still hasn't stood out as anything other than a worker. He's 27 and will only have a year left on his contract come the summer so from a financial POV this is definitely the time to sell him.

  11. Jacob Murphy man. Looks like he’s won the lottery every time he’s interviewed. What a lovely boy 😁

  12. Outrageous that Tonali plays for us, like. You obviously hope for it with the takeover that you’d get players of his and Isak’s caliber but to actually see it and see them thriving is still surreal. Especially with an actual cup thrown in

  15. They were big enough in 1990 to have their own computer game. You didn't get that with Jim Smith's Mags.

  16. I just don’t think he’s very good.

  17. I also think we'll sell Longstaff. He's dropped down the pecking order and would be one to upgrade for squad depth. He's probably played his best football for us so now would be the time to cash in with an eye on PSR.

  19. I found myself telling my 16-yr old that I think Murphy is probably a class dad. He just rolled his eyes at me. Much as he does when I ask him if he’d like Schar to be his next dad… 😄

  20. Tonali btw, what a fucking insanely good player he is. Way ahead of everyone at controlling the game and just doing the correct thing for whatever is needed at that moment.

  22. both me and me mate decided we'd give this one a miss after the 4am getting home brentford game. he went on the ticket website yesterday to try and get his daughter a ticket for the Ipswich game and was over the moon when he got one straight away. stupid cunt didn't realise till he paid his money that he'd actually clicked on the crystal palace game by mistake and bought one for that instead. spoke to him earlier and he was moaning like fuck about the nightmare traffic on the way up and the £90 he was forking out for petrol himself..... doubt he's so bothered now!

  27. I'd be very surprised if you can find such a fan. I remember reading an article in 4-4-2 (I think) back in the 90's about why people hate them. There were various reasons ranging from perfectly normal to ridiculous (they represent the Devil being the most insane) but the most convincing was Terry Christian's bit defending them. It was basically 'we are man utd and we deserve everything and you should just lie down and let us take it'. And that was the attitude of their fans for decades. I'd love to see them fall away into insignificance and see just how big a club they really are.

  28. I do hope PIF invests in Nissan https://www.newcastleworld.com/sport/football/newcastle-united/pif-in-talks-for-major-sunderland-investment-newcastle-united-supporters-take-note-5083325#

  29. Aye. He’s gone dependent on a decent offer. And if we have to then someone like Neave will take his place for the academy player (or however it’s termed) in the squad for European games. I take Andrew’s point but he’s not got enough quality in terms technical ability. If I’m wrong I am not that bothered because I definitely think he’s still a decent squad player

  33. I'd agree with this. I think he looks sick of his life and you can see his frustration whenever he comes on and makes a mistake or misplaces a pass. He looks like he needs a run in the team to get any sharpness back, but we can't afford to give him a run in the team. I hope he goes for his own good really. I'd love to see him get a good send off cos he's been a big part of the club's story for the last while and it's not his fault the club has moved on from him a bit.
