While users are given some storage space on Toontastic to host their own images, unlimited storage would cause the forum to grind to a halt (and indeed has done so in the past), so everyone now has a sensible limit on the storage available to them here. With that in mind, here are our current recommendations for easy external linking: We recommend https://snipboard.io/ for hosting images. You can upload files directly from your phone or other device ("pick a file"). If you're using a desktop computer, you also have the option of dragging and dropping files into the browser window or pasting images directly from your clipboard. Once you've done that, simply copy the address from the browser bar, paste it into your Toontastic post and your image will be displayed. A decent range of GIFs can be found via the GIF button in the post creation window here on Toontastic (it's at the end of the row with the bold/italic/underline buttons). If you do need to host your own GIFs, https://giphy.com/ is your friend. You'll need to create an account, but that also means easy access to all of your GIFs on your own page for future use - no more having to upload the same thing any time you want to use it. You can also search Giphy to find GIFs uploaded by others. And of course, don't forget that you can link to any image from any external site in posts on Toontastic simply by copying and pasting the image address - if it exists on the web, there's no need to upload it again here or anywhere else. We'll update this thread as and when different preferred options emerge!

There was a piece recently (think it was in the Sunday Times) about his struggles with alcoholism and mental health.
