Typical of the opinion of him, overrating him that much. He keeps coming into play for the team for short stretches after having played nothing but reserve matches for months and months (a year sometimes), name me any player that would come on and play at his very best in that situation? He's not as good as Given, but he's good enough that broadly when Given is injured we don't really, really miss him, and anyone one else as good as him we'd never have kept for so long as a 2nd goalie (especially as Given is so rarely out). I mean for most of this run he's been playing with an injury that in most other circumstances no one else would have been playing with in the first place. I'm amazed (and more than a little appalled tbh) that anyone can say he's shite. Kind of a shit point really seen as he dropped absolute howlers in his first few games between the sticks
