  1. Tale of two halves. We played some unbelievable stuff in the first half but proper tensed up in the second half and looked leggy.
  2. The thing this, their team didn't need any major surgery. Probably a world class centre forward was about it.
  3. Shame we couldn't get involved in the Jaoa Cancelo deal. £61m and can play both full back positions
  4. Daivd Moyes could not care one bit about Anthony Gordon leaving them. In fact, I'd be surprised if he didn't enquire about him.
  5. He is more of a goal threat than either. And he seems to have the tenacity and stamina for the role. hang though, is he 6 foot ?
  6. Aye, another one on the Everton graveyard if he goes there.
  7. He already has Dwight McNeil , Michael Keane and Tarkowski oven ready.
  8. Ive since found out players aren't necessarily arsed about money per week but contract worth. For example, say Shelvey is on £60k per week now. His contract runs out in 6 months so thats £1.5m he is guaranteed. He could of course stay but could pick up a bad injury and thats is career earnings done. If he goes to Forest for say £40k per week on a 2.5 year contract then he is guaranteed circa £5.2m
  9. Maybe FFP stopping us buying anyone else?
  10. Aye. I’m Pro-Shelvey as well. He would have been in first choice midfield this season but for that bad injury. The transfer makes sense for both. He’ll get 3 years at Forest whereas he’d only be on another year here as a bit part player He has great ability but lacks pace and closing down which this team now requires. Ive also never seen a player so head and shoulders above - when he played in the championship. Good luck to him.
  11. I hope we sign him just to fook CN off. Although no doubt he can call in his caveat from every tweet he makes.
  12. I’d just loan him out for remainder. Saves him having a blinder against us later in the season.
  13. I thought he was about 20 but he is 25. Quite the late bloomer.
  14. It was a golden era tbf. Nadal, Federer, Djokovic and Murray. Murray was unlucky to have to go against these guys otherwise he would have won many more majors.
  15. Aye, zero aggression from him. He was absolutely no threat.
  16. I don’t know anything about him but he is 21 and has only made one PL appearance. I think we are going for young players that have a reputation within the game rather than what fans see.
  17. I think we’d all have preferred someone with proven ability but hopefully Eddie and Mad Dog can turn him into a player
  18. So are we saying stats are a waste of time? 😉
  19. Well done for remembering one of their 100 managers over the past 20 years
