If we take stock of the season now we’ve had some memorable times Smashing Man Utd away, beartng Man City in the cup, playing Cl football, destroying PSG, nearly winning in Paris, mackems, sheff utd away. Etc We have been knocked out of cup v Chelsea away in the quarters of league cup, will most likely get knocked out of quarters in FA cup v Man City and still have a chance of qualifying for Europe despite an unprecedented injury crisis. I personally think it’s been a good season when you take a short look back. Think of where we were 2 years ago. If we qualify for Europe I think it will be an amazing season but if we don’t we’ll have learned and be better next season.

Aye. It’s like watching an Ossie Ardiles team at the moment.

Over the past 9 games we've lost 2 (one last miniute goal v Man City and Arsenal away). The performances haven't really been there but we are chugging along.

Fatigue is still a problem for me. We still struggle to play 3 games in a week. Perhaps Eddie has tried to tweak it as the players were run into the ground. The famous press from last season is non-existent/very poor now. I don’t think he is a player that woudlnt give 100%. He knows he is privileged to be in this position. He most likely doesn’t have the fuel in the tank like he did last season.

He was abysmal last night but they were all shite. Every single one of them bar Dubravka (and Gordon & Miggy in flashes). I wouldn’t pick him out as going back to Bruce form because you could label everyone bar Schar/Big Joe who has dropped down back to their natural level. The reality is they aren’t great (you were berating my boy Gareth for not picking him for England around November) and they aren’t completely shit. Just mediocre PL players that will play well in a system. At least he gives 100% which is all we can ask until him and the others are upgraded.

Odds on he misses a pen if it goes to it.
