  1. Finally someone who has the same opinion. Everytime I say that, someone disagrees with an essay. Someone cut the boy's hair for starters!!! Ma dad goes to every home game and he HATES Carrol. Says he's a pile of shit who needs to be out the door asap.
  2. It seems strange to play Best ahead of Lovenkrands based on form. Maybe it was a tactical decision. nah man, CH doesnt wana drop him incasae we complain about wasting money on someone not being used. Thats a piss take if true, at the expense of a 3-0 humping by Derby. If Lovenkrands scores, play him. If Best comes off the bench next match and scores a double, then put him in for whoever isnt hitting the target. End of the day, we need goals from upfront, and they certainly arent going to come from the bench.
  3. Its just irritating at the fact that it seems that him and Routledge have a good understanding together, Carrol's not quick enough in mind and pace to keep up with his play. I think Lovenkrands needs to play upfront sided with Routledge and simpson.
  4. Lovenkrands scores a perfect hat-trick couple of weeks back, his fathers passes away and still manages to come play for us two days later against WBA and scores a leveller there. And to add to that, comes on against cardiff last fri and tucks away two of the sweetest goals ive seen from Newcastle this season. Now why on EARTH was he not started??? Drop Best before ko and bring Peter in. simple. And things today might of been different. A mistake by Best and a mistake by Carrol cost us the game. saying something. Andy Carrol cant get much right this week. Prob so pissed off he'll bottle someone tonight. Hughton NEEDS TO LOSE THE FEAR AND PLAY LOVENKRANDS WHEN HE'S ON FORM!!! so.... your opinions?
  5. Anyone help me? Need to find some way of listening to this match. Not on radio 5live, talksport etc. Any ideas online? I've tried NUFC online but it never seems to load the sound and just says an error. Dying to listen to another gubbing of a fizzy pop team
  6. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/tyne/8503715.stm Big Andy Charged. Shit footballer, shit person.
  7. Here you go: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/...en-Ireland.html :-D I may be looney but got better things to do with my time that create transfer stories
  8. nah, as in who we've signed. spent money in the past but not on players worth while. scrapping th barrel. Players like duff and owen who wanted a fortune per week and were at lows in their careers. Instead of looking towards young talent thats worthwhile signing, or good quality players. look back at players such as both Fayes, boumsong, babyaro, kluivert, owen, duff, luque, geremi, cacapa. all did sweet fa for us
  9. Looney? very much the case. Stillin waiting for the men in white coats. But don't we deserve to be able to try and bring players like this in? too long we've 'scrapped' the barrel so to speak.
  10. No-one at the club is 'worthy' of the no. 9 shirt. Carrol no way! Also if the decision is going to be made, us as the fans should have a say through voting
  11. Mancini to sell Steven Ireland in the summer to open up for his planned signings. If we go up, we should def try and sign. Just what we need in the middle of the park.
  12. Surely they should be docked points by now?
  13. I reckon it depends if theres a buy-out in the summer. If the fat man sells up, then i'm hopeful of someone v good. Esp if new owners back the club with a large sum for transfers, be a good challenge for a lot of world class managers. (Dear Santa, Ive been a very good boy this year and I only ask for three things this christmas. 1) Make the cockney bastard disappear 2) Make some really wealthy Arab come in to financially back the team and club 3) Send Chris Hughton to anger management school, leaving the job vancant for J. Mourinho. :-) Please Santa, your a geordie thru and thru, you want it too!)
  14. Adjei came in as a hot prospect not so long ago (think a wee bit after Ranger). Supposed to be one for the future, scored on his debut too.
  15. Carrol's a sack of shit. scores once every blue moon, cant pass, cant run, no vision, fouls all th time. Ranger every time
  16. I disagree. As much as I want to win the league, I think the next couple of months we could struggle unless Hughton can produce a miracle signing up front before 5pm tomorrow. None of our stikers can score on a regular basis. No goals = no wins Carrol = crap Ranger = average (atm anyway) Ameobi = average Lovenkrands = eratic Nolan = eratic
  17. haha completely forgot Mr Barton. Lovenkrands moving alongside Ranger and Barton slotting in the middle with Routledge moving to the right
  18. First of all the guy deserves a pat on the back because what he's managed to do so far this season is no short of a miracle. I expected us to be in the championship for at least two seasons struggling to attract players and losing them in every direction. He's created unity and passion (finally) for the badge. For the players, we're nowhere near prem standard. Hughton has worked wonders in the market over past month, with williamson looking v strong at the back and routledge looking like been the best attacking midfielder we've had for a long time. His pace is just what we need in the middle of the park, and looks to have a final ball but I got the impression yesterday against leicester that no-one was passing it to him on the right in the 2nd half (bit like when duff joined) and he seemed to have to go find the ball. Aalholt seems like a potential for the future, granted he's only with us for a month but seems strong. Different player in the 2nd half as he was v nervy to begin with and wouldnt move up the field to attack in 1st. 2nd was a different player and has a hell of a left foot! We need more though. No-one is gonna like this, but in my opinion (with the exception of ranger) we need to sell all our strikers in the summer and start afresh. Too many years now we've tried to make it work with the big strong forward up front and it doesnt work! Since Shearer we've had no-one. We need to look at other options up front, the rooney or van persie type but not the big lanky Carrol who is useless. Sick of watching the looong ball forward every other minute. Cannot wait for Mr Barton to return so that finally we'll have some vision in the middle of the park spreading it one side to the other. My line-up would be: HARPER SIMPSON -------- TAYLOR --------COLO---------ENRIQUE GUTHRIE LOVENKRANDS---------- ROUTLEDGE------------------JONAS RANGER
  19. He had his time and was great but wouldn't even consider taking him back. Slight deja vu - Olivier Bernard. And he never saw the pitch, but was been paid. Waste of money in my opinion. Money better spent on renewed talks with danny simpson and pay him more.
  20. Leeds are apparently interested in signing former nufc's loanee Marlon Harewood. Does this mean Leeds have admitted defeat in fending off interested parties coming in for Jermaine Beckford. Does that mean he's shortly on his way to us, and is Harewood likely to sign for them in League 1? hmmmm
  21. We attempted to open dialogue with Moat a while back. He's fully aware of our position, what sort of funds were talking about and what not. To date (as far as I'm aware) there's been no reply. Guess it depends if he really wants the club, and as a supporter has had enough of the carnage Ashley is ob enjoying.
  22. While on numerous sites reading countless articles on Ashley, had couple of ideas. The NUST says it has already started building up funds to make an attempted takeover. And Barry Moat could not raise all the finance upfront. Two ideas: 1. Could the NUST loan the finance now to Moat to be able to turn to Ashley with the whole sum, take it or leave it? 2. Or better still, could Moat and NUST work together? Could they both put a offer to Ashley. That way we have a 'newcastle fan' businessman who is running the club with the NUST there to be able to have an input into the clubs runnings from the thoughts of the fanbase. Any thoughts? prob aready thought of, but oh well
  23. So if the ground was deserted for the next four home games, do you think he would hang around or get on the phone to Barry, snatching his hand off. I think he would stay. It wont make a difference. He has the power to do what he wishes. All it will do is jeopardise our possible promotion. And Christmas tree, so what? if you dont like it, support your 5yo, and send the money you'd use for football to a charity helping those at war, and dont bother with football anymore
  24. Disagree? Do you support the team or not? Do you want premier league again? Wise up. We're stuck with him till summer by the looks of it. Help the lads get the results by sticking by them
  25. The team needs the same number of supporters to turn up to home games and away matches. There is nothing at the end of the day we can do but support our team the way we always have. Boycotting will just affect the players, some of which (ranger, vuchic, carroll etc) have real potential for the clubs future, but will get shipped on at the end of the season if we dont go up. So lets show Ashley how we feel in a different way. One last thing, Ashley's $a c#ck but at th end of the day, HE owns the club. No matter what we do, HE can do what he pleases. SUCKS. Wish Shepherd was still with us.
